    摘要: Improved authoring techniques enable digital forms to be configured so as to facilitate subsequent analysis of how specific consumer segments interact with such forms. As a form author defines and manipulates the fields that comprise a form, selected fields can be designated as dimensions across which metrics can be analyzed. Depending on the particular type of data being collected, author-designated dimensions are optionally transformed into more meaningful categories. For instance, a “household income” field can be transformed into lower- and higher-income segments. If the form author wishes to later analyze metrics such as interaction time and errors encountered, consumers can be segmented on the basis of such dimensions. For example, the form author may understand which income segment requires the most time to complete a form. In general, this provides information with respect to how certain segments interact with a digital form, thereby enabling form authors to improve consumer experience.

The sandbox environment, may be monitored by the same automation that watches compliance controls in the production service. As the user injects compliance failures into the sandbox, they may detect the appropriate alerts fire in the monitoring system, thereby gaining trust that the monitoring works as it should. A rich report resulting from the test activities may allow the user or auditor to see how a failure of a compliance control leads to the expected monitoring alert.

The data stream language allows users to specify a search condition using a find block for identifying the set of data streams processed by the data stream language program. The set of identified data streams may change dynamically. The data stream language allows users to group data streams into sets of data streams based on distinct values of one or more metadata attributes associated with the input data streams. The data stream language allows users to specify a threshold block for determining whether data values of input data streams are outside boundaries specified using low/high thresholds. The elements of the set of data streams input to the threshold block can dynamically change. The low/high threshold values can be specified as data streams and can dynamically change.

    摘要: A technique tests whether an integrated computing system having server, network and storage components complies with a configuration benchmark expressed as rules in first markup-language statements such as XML. The rules are parsed to obtain test definition identifiers identifying test definitions in a second set of markup-language statements, each test definition including a test value and an attribute identifier of system component attribute. A management database is organized as an integrated object model of all system components. An interpreter invoked with the test definition identifier from each rule process each test definition to (a) access the management database using the attribute identifier obtain the actual value for the corresponding attribute, and (b) compare the actual value to the test value of the test definition to generate a comparison result value that can be stored or communicated as a compliance indicator to a human or machine user.
