Abstract: The invention relates to system and methods for accessing transaction servers to obtain particular information related to the transaction processing. In particular, the system 10 is adapted to interact with the internal trace 14 of the CICS 12 for reading the trace entries generated by CICS 12 during transaction processing and written to the internal trace 14. The system 10 is adapted to interact with the internal trace 14 in such a manner that the performance of the transaction processing being conducted in the CICS is not negatively impacted. In accordance with an arrangement of the invention, there is provided a method (to be described at a later stage) for reading and interpreting the content of the internal trace in a period of time that is less than the period of time needed for an internal trace to become full and wrap losing the trace entries stored therein.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a write instructing unit instructs a data access unit to write, in a storage area of a data storage unit indicated by a first physical address, write object data, instructs a management information access unit to update address conversion information, and instructs a first access unit to update the first physical address. A compaction unit extracts a physical address of compaction object data, instructs the data access unit to read the compaction object data stored in a storage area of the data storage unit indicated by the physical address, instructs the data access unit to write the compaction object data in a storage area of the data storage unit indicated by a second physical address, instructs the management information access unit to update the address conversion information, and instructs a second access unit to update the second physical address.

Abstract: Provided herein may be a memory device and a method of operating the same. The memory device may include a memory block including a plurality of pages, and peripheral circuits configured to sequentially program the pages. The memory device may include control logic configured to control the peripheral circuits such that a program voltage is applied to a word line coupled to a page selected from among the pages such that different pass voltages are applied to all or some word lines coupled to pages on which a program operation has been performed among unselected pages other than the selected page, and to word lines coupled to pages on which a program operation has not been performed among the unselected pages.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method, system, and computer program product for determining storage device weight values to use to select one of the storage devices to use as a target storage to which data from a source storage is migrated. A determination is made, for each of the storage devices, of static parameter values for static parameters comprising attributes of the storage device and dynamic parameter values for dynamic parameters providing device health information determined by accessing the storage device to determine operational conditions at the storage device. Storage device weight values are determined as a function of the static parameter values and the dynamic parameter values of the device. The determined storage device weight values are used to select one of the storage devices as the target storage to which data from the source storage is migrated.

The apparatus may further include a memory manager to manage accesses of the persistent memory that includes a copy-on-write mechanism to service write instructions that address virtual memory pages mapped to physical memory pages that are marked as read-only. Abstract: A data reading method, a data processing device, and a data processing system are provided. The method, executed by a first control node, includes receiving a reading message forwarded by a data switching device, where the reading message is used to instruct the first control node to read first data, and the reading message is sent by a second control node to the data switching device; if a data status identifier of the first data in a first storage node is a valid identifier, reading the first data from the first storage node, and sending the read first data to the data switching device, so that the data switching device forwards the read first data to the second control node, where the valid identifier indicates that the first data on the first storage node is available. The present application ensures that the latest first data in the node group is read.
