Abstract:
A cooling structure for a transformer according to an embodiment includes a coil and a partition member. The partition member covers the coil along the axial direction on the downstream side in the flow direction of the refrigerant that flows along the axial direction parallel to the center axis of the coil.
Abstract:
A transformer includes an iron core, at least one winding, and at least one first thermally conductive member. The winding is wound onto the iron core. The winding has a plurality of wiring layers. The thermally conductive member is thermally connected between adjacent two of the wiring layers. The thermally conductive member is configured to circulate a heat transfer fluid therein.
Abstract:
A device including a high voltage apparatus enclosing a fluid for providing cooling and/or electrical insulation of the apparatus, and a detector for one or more physical properties of the fluid positioned spaced apart from the housing. The device includes a pipe assembly for housing a fluid, whereby the pipe assembly is arranged between the detector equipment and the housing such that the fluid is extended without interruption in the pipe assembly. The fluid in the pipe assembly is in communication with the fluid in the housing, and the detector equipment is in direct communication with the fluid in the pipe assembly. The detector equipment is positioned below a top level of the housing and at a safe distance from the housing of the apparatus, which makes it possible to carry out inspection, testing, maintenance, and calibration of the detector equipment without taking the high voltage apparatus out of operation.
Abstract:
This disclosure provides an ignition coil for a spark ignited internal combustion engine. The ignition coil includes a coil body having an outer surface and internal windings coupled to a connector. The ignition coil also includes a housing surrounding the coil body. The housing has an outer wall spaced apart from the outer surface of the coil body thereby forming a gap between the outer surface of the coil body and the outer wall. The outer wall includes an opening in flow communication with the gap.
Abstract:
An encapsulated delta transformer for medium to high voltages includes a hermetically sealed housing that encloses a volume, a delta shaped transformer arranged in the housing, and a passageway for a fluid. The passageway protruding through the housing and the volume enclosed by the passageway is in fluidal connection to an outside of the housing.
Abstract:
An electrical transformer is disclosed which includes an enclosure; a magnetic core assembly arranged within the enclosure, the magnetic core assembly having a first core limb, a second core limb and a third core limb; and three coil assemblies having a first coil assembly, a second coil assembly, and a third coil assembly. At least two diaphragms are arranged within the enclosure, the diaphragms being essentially sealed to a first outermost coil of the first coil assembly, and arranged for guiding a cooling fluid in series through a first inner fluid duct, a second inner fluid duct, a third inner fluid duct and an extra-coil volume along outsides of third, second and first outermost coil coils of the third, second and first coil assemblies.
Abstract:
A method for monitoring unusual signs such as partial heatings and partial electric discharges in an apparatus to be monitored, in which a sealed gas is enclosed into a tank containing the apparatus, and at least one of monitor gases represented by formulas (I) and (II),C.sub.n X.sub.2n (I)C.sub.n X.sub.2n+2 (II)wherein X is at least one of H, F, Cl, Br and I, and n is one of 2, 3, 4 and 5, is charged into the tank, and in which a reaction product gas of the monitor gas, generated due to an abnormality of the apparatus to be monitored, is detected using a detector. A gas-charged apparatus including an unusual sign monitor is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Transformer, including an iron core, high voltage and low voltage windings, at least one cast resin body completely embedding, holding and insulating the windings, the cast resin body having cooling channels formed therein and having additional channels formed therein being separated from the cooling channels, and insulating gas filling the additional channels.
