    Abstract: A plug connector to be connected, by plugging, to a mating plug connector, includes a contact carrier manufactured from an electrically insulating material, an electrical grounding contact arranged at the contact carrier for electrical contact with the mating plug connector, and an electrically conductive housing part connected to the contact carrier. An electrically conductive contacting element is manufactured by means of a casting technique. The electrically conductive contacting element has a first contacting portion which bears against the housing part in an electrically contacting manner, and a second contacting portion which bears against the grounding contact in an electrically contacting manner, and electrically connects the housing part to the grounding contact.

    Abstract: A press-fit terminal has a press-fit portion that includes a first piece and a second piece that are formed as a result of the metal plate being split into two parts in a width direction of the metal plate by a long slit extending in a lengthwise direction of the metal plate. The first piece is curved to protrude in one direction of the thickness direction of the metal plate, and the second piece is curved to protrude in the other direction of the thickness direction of the metal plate. Each of the first piece and the second piece includes a large thickness portion that is provided at a protruding end portion and two small thickness portions that are provided on both sides in the lengthwise direction with the large thickness portion interposed between the two small thickness portions.

    Abstract: A fixing device is used to fix a cable to a substrate. The cable has a first conductor and a second conductor.     Abstract: A connector processing machine includes a feeder mechanism having a housing track for supporting connector housings between a loading zone and a punching zone. The feeder mechanism includes a feeder rail and a carriage sliding along the feeder rail by a feeder actuator between a pickup position and a drop off position. The feeder mechanism includes a walking beam movable by the carriage between the loading zone and the punching zone. The walking beam includes fingers configured to engage the connector housings to advance the connector housings.     Abstract: A coil for a transformer assembly is provided. The coil extends circumferentially around a longitudinal axis. The coil comprises a foil winding arrangement and a conductor element. The foil winding arrangement extends circumferentially around the longitudinal axis and has four edge regions. The conductor element covers at least partially at least one of the edge regions of the foil winding arrangement. The conductor element allows for a reduction in an electric field that arises during an operation of the transformer assembly at the edges of the foil winding arrangement. In this manner, a performance improvement in partial discharge tests and lightning impulse tests can be achieved.
