摘要： A cable storage system includes a box and at least one cable retainer. The box includes a plurality of walls at least partially defining a box interior. The box receives a cable from an exterior of the box. At least one wall of the box defines a retainer opening. The retainer is adapted to receive an unsecured length of the cable and may be selectively secured to the retainer opening. When the retainer is secured to the retainer opening, the retainer extends out of the interior of the box. Multiple retainers may be used to store additional lengths of cable.

In particular, the wall grommet is configured for running power cords inside walls and presenting the electrical connectors of a power cord in a manner such that power cords are hidden from view. The grommet may comprise a power module and a back cover. The power module comprises a housing, which defines an interior space that is adapted to hold either the female connector or male connector of a power cord. The back cover can be attached to the housing to secure the electrical connector of the power cord in the housing.

摘要： Provided is a grommet for routing one or more cables through the interior space of a wall. The grommet may be configured to be inserted through a hole in a surface of the wall and mounted substantially flush with the surface of the wall to route one or more cables in the wall's interior space. The grommet can be used to route power cords and low-voltage cables for audio and video applications. For instance, the grommet may be configured to allow a cable to be inserted through a hole in the surface of a wall and into the interior space of the wall. Also, the grommet may be configured to hold an end of a cable so that the cable may be routed through the interior space of the wall.
