摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink data communication. The UE may determine a processing time for the downlink data communication based at least in part on at least one of: whether the downlink data communication was scheduled via preconfigured scheduling or via a downlink grant received in a downlink control channel, or whether the downlink data communication is an initial transmission or a retransmission. The UE may transmit acknowledgement or negative acknowledgement (ACK/NACK) feedback, corresponding to the downlink data communication, using a timing indicated by the processing time. Numerous other aspects are provided.

摘要: An encoder outputs a first bit sequence having N bits. A mapper generates a first complex signal s1 and a second complex signal s2 with use of bit sequence having X+Y bits included in an input second bit sequence, where X indicates the number of bits used to generate the first complex signal s1, and Y indicates the number of bits used to generate the second complex signal s2. A bit length adjuster is provided after the encoder, and performs bit length adjustment on the first bit sequence such that the second bit sequence has a bit length that is a multiple of X+Y, and outputs the first bit sequence after the bit length adjustment as the second bit sequence. As a result, a problem between a codeword length of a block code and the number of bits necessary to perform mapping by a set of modulation schemes is solved.

摘要: Disclosed is an access point (AP) for a network that includes security features for interacting with devices on the network. The other devices on the network may be other APs, client devices, or a backend configuration server. The access point includes a private key that is used to verify signals to and from (the private key may be different for different functions). In the case of other APs, the private key is used to verify control signals sent between the APs to identify and prevent a hijacked AP from taking control of the network by sending false control signals. In the case of a client device, the client device may use the subject AP's private key to identify that the subject AP is a trusted member of the network that may receive data. In the case of the backend server, the subject AP may verify configuration updates via use of the private key to prevent loading of malicious firmware.

摘要: In some embodiments, a system for operating an HVAC control network includes a first control unit communicatively coupled to a first plurality of HVAC units and a first interactive display, the first control unit further comprising a software access point (softAP). A second control unit, the second control unit communicatively coupled to a second plurality of HVAC units and a second interactive display. The second control unit may include a push button. The second control unit may connect to the first control unit to create an HVAC control network using a Wi-Fi direct protocol by invoking a Wi-Fi direct, push button configuration protocol in response to detecting that the push button has been depressed. The first control unit may control the second plurality of HVAC units over the HVAC control network in response to the second control unit connecting to the first control unit.

The method includes: sending, by a first base station, downlink information by using a first period according to a first pattern; sending, by the first base station, the downlink information by using a second period according to the first pattern, or by using the first period according to a second pattern, or by using a second period according to a second pattern when the first base station determines to change a transmission period and/or a transmission pattern of the downlink information, where the second period is less than the first period, and OFDM symbols occupied by the second pattern are more than OFDM symbols occupied by the first pattern. The present invention is applicable to the field of communications technologies.

摘要: A base station according to an embodiment is a base station configured to perform transmission to a user terminal by use of an unlicensed band. The base station comprises: a controller configured to start the transmission from a boundary of a subframe, but also to start the data transmission from a second-half slot out of a first-half slot and the second-half slot which configure a subframe. The controller is configured to transmit downlink control information in the second-half slot to start the transmission from the second-half slot. The controller is configured to change a modulation scheme to be applied to the transmission, depending on a start timing of the transmission, while fixing a transport block size applied to the subframe. The downlink control information is a PDCCH or an EPDCCH.
