摘要: The present invention is designed so that, when a plurality of inter-terminal discovery signals with varying numbers of information bits are used in a radio communication system in which inter-terminal communication is carried out, user terminals can be discovered based on the inter-terminal discovery signals. According to the inter-terminal communication method of the present invention, a user terminal (#1) determines the signal format of a discovery signal based on the number of information bits of the discovery signal,transmits the discovery signal based on the signal format, and also transmits signal format information to represent this signal format. A user terminal (#2) receives the signal format information from the user terminal (#1), and, based on the signal format represented by the signal format information, detects the discovery signal.

摘要: An occurrence of a first set of n periods of a frequency-shift-keying (FSK)-modulated waveform is counted, where n is an integer number. The n periods of the FSK-modulated waveform in the first set have a first time duration. An occurrence of a second set of n periods of the waveform is counted. The n periods of the waveform in the second set have a second time duration. The first time duration is determined based on the counting of the first set of n periods. The second time duration is determined based on the counting of the second set of n periods. A difference between the first time duration and the second time duration is compared to a threshold. Changes in frequency of the waveform are detected based on the comparing of the difference between the first time duration and the second time duration to the threshold.

摘要: Techniques for sending signaling messages in a wireless communication network are described. In an aspect, a signaling message (e.g., a reduce interference request) may be sent by mapping it to at least one specific subcarrier among a set of subcarriers reserved for sending the signaling message. The at least one subcarrier may be selected based on the message value. A signal may be sent on the at least one subcarrier in multiple symbol periods to convey the signaling message. In another aspect, a reduce interference request may be sent based on an orthogonal resource among orthogonal resources available for sending reduce interference requests. In one design, an orthogonal sequence may be selected based on the request and may be spread across a resource segment. In another design, the reduce interference request may be processed to obtain modulation symbols, and each modulation symbol may be spread across multiple subcarriers in one symbol period.

摘要: A process for allowing a Concurrent Multi-Netting (CMN-4) equipped Link 16 terminal to enter an active network. After an initial entry command is entered at the terminal at a given current time at the terminal, a number of time slots are identified in which multiple receivers at the terminal have an opportunity to detect an initial entry message (IEM) after the given current time. Each of the receivers is set to detect an IEM during a different one of the identified time slots. When an IEM is first detected by one of the receivers, the current time at the terminal is reset based on the time slot in which the IEM was detected.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for transmitting data in a wireless communication system, comprising the steps of: allocating, by a base station, a resource for transmitting data modulated by a hybrid frequency shift keying (FSK) and quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) (FQAM) scheme in which a QAM scheme and a FSK scheme are combined; transmitting, by the base station, a sequence modulated by the FQAM scheme, to a mobile station, via an interference measurement channel; transmitting, by the base station, a reference signal for measuring channel quality information (CQI) to the mobile station; receiving, by the base station, CQI estimated based on an interference characteristic of the interference measurement channel, from the mobile station, and performing scheduling of the mobile station based on the received CQI; and transmitting, by the base station, the data modulated by the FQAM scheme to the mobile station.

摘要: A cloud-networked stand-alone local area network (LAN) is disclosed. A stand-alone LAN is networked to a server outside the stand-alone LAN, and the server is part of a cloud of servers. The server includes hardware processors that process system operation information updates from a user for the stand-alone LAN, hardware memory that stores the system operation information updates; and a transceiver for communicating the system operation information updates to the stand-alone LAN. The stand-alone LAN includes a primary network hub (PNH) having a microcontroller that stores the system operation information, a cloud-side transceiver networked to the cloud of servers for receiving the system operation information updates from the server, and a PNH LAN long range transceiver that communicates via a long range spread spectrum or a narrowband frequency shift keying signal. The stand-alone LAN also includes a peripheral device having a microcontroller and an actuation mechanism.
