A circuit is used to provide more consistent power to the electronics at the distribution point even when the input back-power to the distribution point may fluctuate.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to an arrangement for analyzing transmission line properties. Measurement data providing means provide data of a first frequency dependent line property, line property calculation arrangement with model handling means, a Hubert transform handler and line property determination means calculate said first property based on model parameters, line resistance at 0 frequency, roc, a cut-off frequency, v, a line capacitance C∞ and a line inductance L∞H. The line model handling means calculates the line inductance L(f) via a Hubert transform of a function of Q(f/v), wherein the function Q(f/v) relates the line resistance R(f) to roc as R(f)=roc·Q(f/v). The Hilbert transform values are calculated using a parameterized closed form expression for the Hubert transform or they are tabulated. The line property determination means calculates the first property and criteria function application means uses the measured first property and the calculated first property for model parameters to find optimized numerical model parameter values.

    摘要: A testing apparatus and a testing method for a telephone apparatus are disclosed. The testing apparatus includes an audio generator, an audio signal processor, and a noise analyzer. The audio generator transmits a testing audio signal to a receiver of the telephone apparatus. The audio signal processor receives the testing audio signal and an output audio signal. The audio signal processor performs a time-to-frequency transformation operation on a difference between the testing audio signal and the output audio signal to obtain a noise information. The noise analyzer receives the noise information and obtains a maximum noise component among a plurality of noise components respectively corresponding to frequencies in the noise information. The noise analyzer compares the maximum noise component with a predetermined threshold to generate a testing result of the telephone apparatus.

After receiving a code to begin the troubleshooting process, all legs of the teleconference are muted except a test leg. That test leg is evaluated for echo.     摘要: A method for the performance testing of an echo canceller including the steps of transmitting a test signal to the echo canceller, recording an echo energy signal output from the echo canceller as a result of the test signal, measuring the energy and duration of the echo energy signal and calculating a performance score for the echo canceller based on the measured energy and duration of the echo energy signal, wherein the test signal transmitted to the echo canceller has a plurality of discrete frequency band segments of white noise representing sub-bands of an overall bandwidth ranging from about 0 kHz to about 3.5 kHz. The test signal preferably has four discrete frequency band segments of white noise, wherein each discrete frequency band segment of the test signal is repeated in succession, whereby the test signal has a total of eight segments. Thus, the test signal can have a first frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 0 kHz to about 1 kHz, a second frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 1 kHz to about 2 kHz, a third frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 2 kHz to about 3 kHz and a fourth frequency band segment having a bandwidth of about 3 kHz to about 3.5 kHz.
