摘要: In one illustrative example, a vehicular flasher unit is operative to provide a heartbeat flasher scheme in vehicle flasher lights. One illustrative technique in the vehicular flasher unit involves monitoring a flasher enable input to identify a flasher enable signal and producing, at a light illumination output in response to identifying the flasher enable signal, a heartbeat flashing scheme in the vehicle flasher lights. The heartbeat flashing scheme has a repeating sequence of two heartbeat pulse flashes in the vehicle flasher lights which include a first heartbeat pulse flash and a second heartbeat flash. Each first heartbeat pulse flash has a first peak intensity in the vehicle flasher lights and each second heartbeat pulse flash has a second peak intensity in the vehicle flasher lights that is preferably different from the first peak intensity. Further, each first heartbeat pulse flash is separated from its following second heartbeat pulse flash by a first duration, and each second heartbeat pulse flash is separated from its following first heartbeat pulse by a second duration that is greater than the first.

摘要: A safety light for vehicles, particularly small recreational vehicles such as all terrain vehicles, which is one or more light strips entwining the whip which supports the vehicle's pennant or flag. This invention can normally show light in a color which matches the color of the recreational vehicle. When the vehicle operator applies the brakes, the light entwining the whip changes to red to warn that the vehicle is braking. When the vehicle is overturned, or at the operator's command in the event of another emergency, the lights entwining the whip can be made to oscillate rapidly back and forth between the red and the other color that is normally shown. In this way the vehicle displays a clear emergency signal.

摘要: An insertable flashlight adapter device for use in an ordinary flashlight having a lamp includes a disc-like shaped housing unit. Electronic circuitry is disposed within the housing unit for selectively operating the flashlight in at least three different modes. The electronic circuitry has a voltage comparator for determining which one of the at least three different modes the flashlight is being operated. The electronic circuitry also has logic and control means for selectively interrupting current to the flashlight lamp so as to cause the at least three different modes of operation. The logic and control means includes a first timer for monitoring a first time interval between mode changes in the voltage comparator and a second timer for monitoring a second time interval between a power-ON and power-OFF state of the flashlight lamp. As a result, the adapter device has eliminated the need of modifications to make an ordinary flashlight operate selectively in the different modes of operation and to maintain the lifespan of the original ON-OFF switch.

摘要: An electric lighting device created for use as a safe, long lasting, authentic looking alternative to a flame bearing candle. This electric ‘candle’ being made from real candle wax, or hollowed out candles with the wicks removed. The ‘candle’ can be scented or colored, and the glow is authentic and pleasing being viewed through real candle wax. Miniature lamps suspended in a clear or yellowish heat resistant medium provide the source lighting. The glow of the artificial flame is color and volume-of-output matched to that of a real flame and realism is added by simulated flame movement with the use of an adjustable oscillator circuit hidden inside the candle. This flameless ‘candle’ can be used safely unattended, and is realistic in that real candle wax, or real used candles, are used for the body of the device.

摘要: The present invention is a wax candle simulation apparatus comprising one or more light emitting device(s), attached to a circuit which is commonly driven by, but not limited to, a micro-controller or passive components. The electronic circuit, in all forms is designed to control the amount of electricity that flows into the light-emitting device at any given time period. The electronic circuit can be, and is commonly, housed inside of a plastic enclosure which is adjustable by height so as to provide for varying sizes of the finished apparatus. The electronic circuit is adjustable by way of various switch configurations located on the underside of the plastic pod. These switch variations are commonly, but not limited to, a slide switch or slide switches and allow adjustment of the type and/or speed of the flicker. The entire pod, with electronics enclosed, is commonly inserted into an outer housing, which may be but is not exclusively made of scented or unscented wax with additives which improve the stability and longevity of the wax itself. The final apparatus can be placed in a multitude of applications and can commonly, but not exclusively, be used to replace any type of product that uses an actual flame to produce light.

摘要: An electric lighting device created for use as a safe, long lasting, authentic looking alternative to a flame bearing candle. This electric nullcandlenull being made from real candle wax, or hollowed out candles with the wicks removed. The nullcandlenull can be scented or colored, and the glow is authentic and pleasing being viewed through real candle wax as opposed to an artificial medium. Instead of a dangerous flame, miniature lamps suspended in a clear or yellowish heat resistant medium provide the source lighting. The glow of the artificial flame is color and volume-of-output matched to that of a real flame and realism is added by simulated flame movement with the use of an adjustable oscillator circuit hidden inside the candle. This flameless nullcandlenull can be used unattended, hence the name Safety Candle, and is much more realistic than the prior art in that real candle wax, or real used candles, are used for the body of the device. In addition, the volume of light and its color output is closely matched to that of a real candle, where the prior art is focused on aspects of simulated flame movement (flicker) and no volume or color claims are made with regard to the light output.
