Abstract:
The invention discloses an electronic apparatus comprising a motherboard, a connector, a card member and a first holder. The connector is disposed on the motherboard and the card member is disposed on the connector. The motherboard comprises a first fixing portion and the card member comprises a second fixing portion. The first holder comprises a third fixing portion fixed to the first fixing portion of the motherboard and a fourth fixing portion fixed to the second fixing portion of the card member. Accordingly, once the motherboard or the card member is hit or pulled by an external force, since two ends of the first holder respectively fix the card member and the motherboard, the card member will not be detached from the connector, such that the card member can be connected to the connector well.
Abstract:
An adapter system is disclosed including a pair of adapters operating in conjunction with each other to allow a variety of different, off-the-shelf memory cards to be used within the ExpressCard slot.
Abstract:
An electronic card and expansion card combination includes an electronic card, for example, vertical insertion type Express card defining a 34 mm card accommodation space and accommodating a circuit board with an electric connector, and an expansion card, which has a flat sliding holder base movable in and out of the card accommodation space and carrying an adapter terminal set that contacts the metal contacts of the circuit board when the flat sliding holder base is extended out of the card accommodation space, and an expansion plate pivotally coupled to the flat sliding holder base and carrying a matching terminal set that contacts the adapter terminal set for the contact of metal contacts of a chip card to be inserted into a card insertion slot defined in the flat sliding holder base and the expansion plate after the expansion plate is turned to out of the flat sliding holder base.
Abstract:
A card fixer is suitable to assist a card to be fixed in a slot of an electronic device. The card fixer includes a body and a clipping structure, wherein the body has a first side and a second side parallel to the first side. A hook is disposed on the first side of the body. The clipping structure extends out of the second side of the body for clipping the card thereon. When the clipping structure of the card fixer clips the card and the assembly of the card fixer with the card is inserted into the slot, the hook is locked on an inside wall of the slot.
Abstract:
A microSD-to-SD adaptor card includes a base substrate having a lead frame structure, a protective cap forming a chamber that encloses eight microSD contact pins of the lead frame structure, and a thermoset plastic casing formed over the protective cap and exposed portions of the base substrate to provide the adaptor card with standard SD card dimensions. A rear opening facilitates insertion of a standard microSD card, whereby the eight contact pads on the microSD card are contacted by the eight microSD contact pins inside the chamber to allow electrical signals generated by the microSD card to be transmitted to a host system by way of a standard SD socket. A grip anchor pin is disposed inside the chamber to engage a grip notch disposed on the microSD card. A pre-molded switch slot is provided on the molded plastic casing, and an insert-in write protect switch is mounted after molding.
Abstract:
An adapter assembly is disclosed that enables a memory card having a smaller length than a standard ExpressCard to be compatible with the standard ExpressCard slot. The adapter assembly includes an adapter having side rails configured to disable the ExpressCard slot ejector mechanisms. The adapter assembly further includes a tongue provided for rigidly connecting the adapter to a finger grip, which gets positioned outside of the opening of the ExpressCard slot upon insertion of the adapter assembly into the slot. The adapter allows a memory card having the approximate size, look and feel of a conventional CompactFlash card to be used in a conventional ExpressCard slot.
Abstract:
A USB connector type memory card adapter is disclosed to include a metal shield covered with a cover shell having a memory card insertion hole and insertable into a USB jack of an electronic apparatus, a USB connector unit mounted inside the metal shield and electrically connectable to the USB jack into which the metal shield is inserted, and a memory card module longitudinally connected to the rear end of the USB connector unit in a flush manner inside the metal shield and electrically connected to the USB connector unit for receiving the inserted memory card and electrically connecting the inserted memory card to the USB connector unit.
Abstract:
An adapter system is disclosed including a pair of adapters operating in conjunction with each other to allow a variety of different, off-the-shelf memory cards to be used within the ExpressCard slot.
Abstract:
A multi-memory media adapter having a port, a surface, and a set of contact pins adapted to connect to different types of flash cards. Signals are mapped to the contact pins depending upon the type of flash card. In one embodiment, a controller has signal lines connected to an interconnection means which connects wires, cables or traces to the sets of contact pins. Signals are mapped on the signal lines depending upon the type of flash card inserted.
Abstract:
A PC card has a card body portion in which a first card terminal portion is formed in one end and a second card terminal portion is formed in the other end. The card terminal portion has a chip slot. A SIM card inserted through an insertion port into the chip slot is electrically connected to a printed circuit board. The insertion port of the chip slot is opened in an outer side face of the second card terminal portion.
