Abstract: A braking structure for a turning body includes an engagement device rotatably engaging a movable-side portion of a rotation damper with a base at a rotation center of the movable-side portion; a first fixing device fixing the movable-side portion relative to the turning body; and a second fixing device fixing a stationary-side portion of the rotation damper relative to the base. The engagement device includes an axis protrusion provided on one side of either the movable-side portion or the base, and a receiving portion provided on the other side of either the movable-side portion or the base, and receiving the axis protrusion from a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the rotation. Also, an inserting path for the axis protrusion continuing to the receiving portion is adapted to expand in the direction perpendicular to the rotation axis by an elastic deformation when the inserting path receives the axis protrusion.

Abstract: A grab handle assembly with integrated articulating hook is disclosed comprising base elements and a handle pivotal on the base elements between closed and an open positions. A pivot pin is fixed to the handle and pivotally supported on a base element. A hook is pivotally supported on the pivot pin and is movable between a stored and a deployed position. In one form a resilient finger on the hook coacts with surfaces on the pivot pin to provide resistance to movement of the hook between the stored and deployed positions. The pin is configured to provide varied resistance at different hook positions.

The handle may provide a link between the shopping cart or stroller and a child. Typical shopping carts or strollers do not provide a suitable location for a child to hold onto while walking alongside. Moreover, a separate, removable, self-affixing handle may be useful to help limit the spread of germs by allowing each child to have their own personal handle.

Abstract: A toolset for marine applications that includes improved handle for buckets that provides an improved flexible gripping strap, and further provides a method of securely attaching the flexible gripping strap to specially formed spiked hooks that attach to a bucket. The spiked hook is inserted into a central channel of the flexible gripping strap. The hook has a distal end with angled spikes that allow the hook to be inserted into the central channel, but are angled such that they cannot be withdrawn. The hook further has a proximal end with an open hook that can be easily attached or detached from a bucket. The tool set further has specially formed wrenches that allow a user to adjust stopcocks that are located in hard to reach locations. The wrenches have open ends and slotted sides to allow them to adjust the stopcocks in multiple ways. That alternative use for the spiked hook is shown which allows it to be used to clean lobsters.

Abstract: A window operation assistance handle having a base, at lease one finger grip with two legs, multiple offset orifice fixation ports for receiving multiple securing devices such as setscrews or thumbscrews, and a base hollow groove. To temporarily install and use the handle, the handle is positioned to envelope an integrated leverage point in the hollow groove, and the securing devices disposed in the multiple offset orifice fixation ports are engaged to create a non-penetrating compressive friction fit upon enveloped leverage point. The window can then be lifted or slid by applying force to the finger grips.
