摘要： A tamper evident seal includes a wire hasp, an insert and a body for receiving the insert and the wire hasp. One leg of the wire hasp is received in a channel in the insert through an opening having a length slightly greater than the thickness of the wire hasp. The one leg of the wire hasp must be located in the channel in the insert prior to the insert being located in the body. A coupling structure for coupling the insert in the body includes extension tabs extending from the sides of the insert and located proximal a bottom of the insert and engagement members supported on angularly extending supports located proximal a top end of the insert and extending angularly outwardly upwardly from the sides of the insert and including teeth extending outwardly and for engaging reversely formed teeth (indentations) in the sides of the body for preventing removal of the insert and the wire hasp once they are fully inserted in the body and in the insert, respectively.

摘要： A unitized security seal having a shackle, an engagement housing with a passage for receiving the shackle, and at least two locking members spaced along the shackle with undercut openings to the outer surface of the locking members, at least one pin being located within the housing passage and oriented to engage the undercuts as the shackle is advanced through the passage to provide non-removable engagement of the shackle in the housing, and at lease one undercut including a frangible member positioned between its entry and its exit for engaging an engagement housing pin to resist removal of the shackle from the engagement housing until a sufficient force is applied to shear away the frangible member.

摘要： A security seal with a male part having a security wire extending from it, and a female part that receives the male part. The security wire passes through two grooves on the male part and through a central opening between them. With the security wire so placed, the male part is inserted into the female part where two pairs of resilient spurs on the male part engage knobs in the female part preventing the male part from being removed and a protective cover on the male part receives the female part. The security wire preferably has a metal base with a thin metal thread spirally tightly wound around it that is separable from the metal base when the security wire is violently pulled or bent. The seal is preferably made of a transparent material and preferably has a thread connecting the male and female parts so they stay associated.

摘要： An anti-shoplifting seal is constituted by a rigid body provided with a flexible and/or elastic cord, the cord being provided at the end thereof with a spike. The spike after going through an opening formed in the product to be marked is inserted in a non-removable manner within the body. The seal comprises two half-bearings placed one in front of the other and joined one to the other in a manner to form an internal cavity within which there is placed a plate of a ferromagnetic material or any other material sensitive to apparatuses marking magnetic fields, radio frequency signals and other similar sources well known at the present state of technology.

摘要： A tamper resistant seal and a method of sealing an object using the tamper resistant seal are disclosed. The seal includes a receptacle and an insert adapted to be received in the receptacle. A tamper indicating wire is partially embedded in the insert and protrudes from an end of the insert. When the seal is assembled the insert is received in the receptacle and the wire extends along channels formed in opposite faces of the insert. If the wire is severed or removed from the channels by a tamperer attempting to break the seal, the structure of the channels prevents the wire from being repositioned therein to give a false indication of non-tampering. In addition, the receptacle is transparent to enable the wire to be visually examined to determine whether tampering has occurred.

摘要： The security tag (10) has a housing (11) and a clasp (12), which can move longitudinally therein, in the manner of a padlock. In its closed position, a piston (20), which is prestressed by a spring (21), engages into a gap or interruption (15) in the clasp (12). In order to open the clasp (12), a reduced-pressure source, which raises the piston (20), is placed onto a projection (28), so that the said piston releases the clasp (12). The use of a reduced-pressure source exacerbates the unauthorized opening of the security tag.
