    摘要: The present invention is directed to a latch actuating device that includes a handle and a base. The handle has a cavity that houses a lockset, a drive cam, and a driven cam. The drive cam has a protrusion that is removably received within a locking receptacle in the base so as to permit and restrict rotation of the handle with respect to the base. The drive cam causes the driven cam to translate along a rotational axis of the drive cam when the drive cam is rotated by the lockset, thus effectuating the insertion and retraction of the protrusion with respect to the locking receptacle.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a latch actuating device that includes a handle and a base. The handle has a cavity that houses a lockset, a drive cam, and a driven cam.     摘要: A lock for a door (10) comprises a casing (11), a bolt (55) operable to extend from or retract into the casing, a pivoted operating handle (36) operable at one side of the door to retract the bolt, lock means (28) for key operation at the other side of the door, and blocking means (81) to prevent operation of the handle to retract the bolt. In a locked closed position of the door, the bolt (55) is extended, and with the blocking means operated, key operation of the exterior lock means (28) both retracts the bolt and also de-actuates the blocking means. At the inside of the door further key operable lock means (39, 40) are provided sokly to operate and, if required to the de-actuate the blocking means. A casting (38) secured in the casing mounts the further lock means (39, 40), provides pan-bearings (38b: 138b) for pivot rods (41, 43) of the handle (36) and a bolt locking element (44), provides a guide slot (138d) for a spring-likle connector (49) linking the handle to the bolt locking element, and provides a pair of arms (66) between which slides a bolt release member (69) and against which bears one end of a biasing spring around part of the bolt release member.

    摘要: A lock mechanism for use with lever handles includes a lock core and a latch mechanism that is rigidly connected to the lock core to prevent the lock core from rotating in the door. Through-bolts are not needed, allowing a small diameter rose to be used. Stops and a spring return mechanism are entirely located within the lock core, allowing the rose to be thin. The lock core defines the rest position for the lever handles at an angle slightly above horizontal. To avoid the necessity for producing different locks in left and right-hand configurations, the lock core is made substantially symmetrical about a vertical plane, instead of a horizontal plane, and the inner and outer sides of the lock mechanism can be interchanged. A heavy-duty locking piece, including a pair of locking lugs that directly engage the lock core near its inner perimeter, allow the lock to withstand abusive forces applied through the lever handle. Endplay is nearly completely eliminated to provide a quality feel through the use of collars that connect the interchangeable inner and outer sides of the lock to the lock core.
