    摘要: To provide an auxiliary plate and a processing device that can suppress the occurrence of damage to a surface of a sheet member such as a corrugated cardboard with a large thickness. An auxiliary plate includes a plate body with a flat-plate shape, and a cutting-blade contact portion provided on a surface of this plate body at a position opposed to a cutting blades arranged in the stamping die, so as to protrude from the surface, while including a contact surfaces with a width dimension greater than a thickness of the cutting blade. The contact surface of the cutting-blade contact portion is chamfered at both edges in its width direction.

    摘要: A metal shell machining apparatus includes a cutting tool and a pressing tool. The cutting tool has a main body, at least two blade bodies, at least two enlargement portions, and at least two blade heads. The main body is a hollow cylinder, the blade bodies are formed by extending downwards from lower end of the main body, and there are at least two intervals between the blade bodies. The enlargement portions are formed by extending downwards and outwards from lower ends of the blade bodies, the blade heads are formed by extending downwards and inwards from lower ends of the enlargement portions. The pressing tool is a hollow cylinder and encircles a periphery of the cutting tool. The lower end of the pressing tool abuts the enlargement portions of the cutting tool. The apparatus can easily form oblique grooves on a metal plate, reducing manufacture cost.

Ripples 24 having depths ranging from 10 to 100 nm are formed with periodicities ranging from 100 to 1000 nm on a stamping tool surface that comes into contact with a workpiece material. The ripples 24 have a stripe shape extending in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of sliding between the stamping tool (die 21) and the workpiece material (the direction of the arrow a). The ripples 24 serve as micro pools. For example, a product that is required to have a surface roughness of the order of several tens of nm or lower can be satisfactorily stamped.

    摘要: A hole punch device that reduces the force required to create a hole in papers or other sheet media. A punch element of the hole punch device includes a locally sloped or indented floor to create a bend in the sheet media as it is punched to create an enlarged, oval hole. The punch pin may include an expanding sleeve surround the pin that forms a larger diameter during the cutting stroke and springs back to a smaller diameter during a pull out stroke. A coiled torsion return spring is positioned remotely from and non-coaxially with the punch pin. A keyed pin and support frame arrangement ensures a predetermined rotational orientation of the pin for sequential cutting for reduced cutting force. A long lead-in surface in the frame helps installing sheet media into the feed slot of the punch element.

    摘要: A method for selectively relieving sharp edges in tools used in die cutting web or sheet-type work material which includes providing a machining apparatus for supporting the tool thereon, where the machining apparatus includes a rotary cutter mounted thereon and moveable relative to the tool. The method also includes providing a controller having machine readable shape data corresponding to at least one of the tools stored therein, and operating the controller to determine, responsive to the stored shape data, locations of edge segments defined by the tool against which the work material will impinge as the work material is advanced onto the tool in a first direction. In addition, the method includes causing the controller to generate a machining path, which when followed by the cutter will relieve the edge segments, and operating the machining apparatus to cause the cutter to follow the machining path in response to command signals generated by the controller, thereby relieving the edge segments and preventing the work material from catching on the tool as it is advanced thereon.
