Abstract: A method according to an embodiment includes receiving, at one or more processors, satellite image data, temperature measurement data, precipitation measurement data, and one or more agronomic parameters, associated with an agricultural land segment. The method also includes predicting, using the one or more processors and a first neural network, a biomass value associated with the agricultural land segment. The method also includes predicting, using the one or more processors and a second neural network, a sugar content value associated with the agricultural land segment. The method also includes predicting, using the one or more processors, a total sugar value associated with the agricultural land segment. Optionally, the method also includes optimizing harvest dates for a plurality of agricultural land segments that includes the agricultural land segment, based on one or more constraints.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for selective crop management in real time. The method comprises steps of: (a) producing a biosensor plant, said biosensor plant comprises a visual biomarker, said biomarker is encoded by at least one modified genetic locus comprising (i) preselected reporter gene allele having a phenotype detectable by a sensor, and (ii) a regulatory region of a preselected gene allele responsive to at least one parameter or condition of said plant or its environment, said regulatory region is operably linked to said reporter gene, such that the expression of said reporter gene phenotype is correlated with the status of said at least one parameter or condition of said biosensor plant or its environment; (b) acquiring image data of a target area comprising a plurality of said biosensor plants via said sensor and processing said data to generate a signal indicative of the phenotypic expression of said reporter gene allele of said biosensor plant; and (c) communicating said signal to an execution unit communicably linked to the sensor, said execution unit is capable of exerting in real time a selective monitoring and/or treatment of said target area or a portion thereof comprising said biosensor plants, said treatment is being responsive to said status of said parameter or condition of the biosensor plant or its environment. The present invention further discloses systems and plants related to the aforementioned method.

The sensor may generate a signal associated with the sensed characteristic and the processing unit may receive the signal. In some aspects, the sensed characteristic may be either a soil characteristic or a seed characteristic. Information associated with the sensed characteristic can be saved in memory for future use and to assist with more effective planting in the future.

Abstract: Methods and systems provided for generating an irrigation map. In one computer-implemented method, a user is instructed, by a computing device, to draw an irrigation boundary in a map of an agricultural field. In response, the computing device receives a first input, from the user, at the map of the agricultural field displayed to the user, where the input includes a point of the irrigation boundary. A second input is solicited from the user and, in turn, the computing device receives the second input, which defines a dimension of the irrigation boundary. The computing device then appends a shape of the irrigation boundary to the map, based on the point and the dimension, wherein the irrigation boundary is positioned based on the point indicated by the user.

Abstract: A method and system provide the ability to autonomously navigate an orchard cart in an orchard. Data is received from a sensor suite of the orchard cart into a computer. The sensor suite includes two or more sensors with at least one positional sensor and at least one perception sensor. Based on the data, the computer detects objects in the orchard. A row in the orchard consists of the objects. The orchard cart is autonomously navigated, via the computer, through the orchard. The navigation includes autonomously positioning the orchard cart a defined distance from the detected objects with respect to the row, and autonomously maintaining a defined speed of the orchard cart as the orchard cart is navigated down the row, such that the orchard cart avoids the detected object.

Present disclosure provides systems and methods for detection and prediction of disguised and potential non-performing assets (NPAs) in agriculture. Disguised NPAs detection involves, obtaining satellite data from sources and natural calamity, detecting of crop for past years, crop growth, estimating yields, market prices for individual years, AC zones, etc. wherein a generate performance score is generated for each field for classifying crop as disguised NPA. Predicting potential NPAs includes obtaining current season satellite data, data received from the fields via sensors, determining crop protocol being followed, forecast weather, estimating cumulative growth, feedback received from fields, projected yield, estimating crop losses, and then performance score is generated for predicting crops as potential NPA.
