摘要: A seed treater includes a baffle which includes a fin that is selectively movable to adjust an extent to which the fin extends into a mixing chamber during mixing of seeds and a seed treatment within the mixing chamber to facilitate mixing of the seeds and the seed treatment within the mixing chamber. 摘要: The present invention relates to improving the efficiency of man-made and/or natural organic-based animal manure fertilizers by administration of formulations containing poly(organic acids), [P(OA)]s, and/or their salts dispersed in a Non-aqueous Organic Solvent Delivery System (NOSDS). Utilizing a NOSDS allows for coating all components in a fertilizer formulation including but not limited to Urea, Manure, mono-ammonium phosphate (MAP), di-ammonium phosphate (DAP), solid micronutrients such as lime, zinc chloride, etc.) with a layer of [P(OA)]s and/or their salts that liberates, in a plant available form, the micronutrient metals and macronutrients, that are bound as insoluble salts and complexes in the soil. The carboxylic groups of a [P(OA)] that can exist within the [P(OA)] as carboxylic acids, carboxylic anhydrides and/or carboxylic imides, dispersed within the NOSDS, can be neutralized with one or more metals in the form of elemental metals, metal oxides, metal hydroxides, metal alkylates and metal carbonates and/or nitrogen containing compounds such as ammonia, ammonium hydroxide or organoamines to form a stable dispersion that can contain completely complexed micronutrients and provide the vehicle for the delivery of these nutrients to soils and/or as a coating to the surfaces fertilizer granules and seeds.

摘要: A seed flow chamber for handling seed and grain commodity, especially for use with a seed treatment applicator. Seed flow is received through an upper inlet opening configured to receive a flow of seed and discharged through a lower discharge opening. A diverging guide member splits the seed flow. A converging guide member disposed below the diverging guide member reunites the seed flow prior to discharge. The converging member has a downward sloping surface and an air vent, such as a plurality of airflow apertures connected to a plenum. The air vent is configured to communicate with an air supply. A vacuum vent—disposed below the diverging guide member—is configured to communicate with a vacuum source. A fan system recirculates air between the air vent and the vacuum vent. Dehumidifier may condition the air supply to assist with drying.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure describe seed, soil, or plant treatment compositions comprising a macronutrient source comprising or consisting of a mineral lactate. Embodiments also describe methods of synthesizing a mineral lactate comprising providing a solution of lactic acid in a first vessel; contacting the solution of lactic acid with a mineral precursor to form a reaction solution in which at least a portion of the mineral precursor is dissolved; allowing the reaction to proceed or optionally transferring the reaction solution to a second vessel where the reaction is allowed to proceed; and optionally reducing the solid mineral lactate to a select particle size to obtain a rapidly soluble solid mineral lactate. Embodiments also describe methods of applying a treatment composition to a seed, soil, or a plant, wherein the treatment composition comprises a macronutrient source comprising or consisting of a mineral lactate.

The composition, relative to the total weight of composition, has a total calcium content from 0.5 to 32.0 wt. %, as expressed in wt. % of CaO, and a total phosphorus content from 3.0 to 65.0 wt. %, as expressed in wt. % of P2O5.
