Abstract: An exemplary system for filling a holding tank with agricultural product generally includes a supply line. The supply line includes an inlet, a plurality of outlets, and a plurality of junctions. The inlet is connected with a conveyance device such that the supply line is operable to receive a flowing agricultural product blown by the conveyance device. The outlets are open to a holding space of the holding tank, and includes a first outlet and a second outlet. The plurality of junctions includes a first junction associated with the first outlet, and a second junction associated with the second outlet. The first junction is configured to direct agricultural product to flow out of the first outlet until the first outlet becomes blocked, and to thereafter direct agricultural product to flow toward the second junction. The second junction is configured to direct agricultural product to flow out of the second outlet.

Abstract: A tool assembly for a planter row unit resides at the forward end of the row unit beneath the tool bar. The assembly includes a bracket assembly connected to the row unit, with a ground engaging tool removably mounted on the bracket assembly for movement between raised and lowered positions. A linear actuator controls the position of the tool. The tool may also include a depth control mechanism. Different tools can be interchanged on the bracket assembly.

Abstract: A planter includes a seed a delivery system for delivering seed from one or more hoppers to one or more row units of the planter. The seed delivery system includes a number of seed entrainers. The seed entrainers receive seed from the one or more hoppers. The seed is combined with a fluid, such as air, which moves the seed through the seed entrainer and towards one or more row units of the planter. The entrainer includes one or more outlets, with the outlets corresponding to different row units, and the outlets can be varied based upon the need of seed delivery for the planter.

Abstract: An agricultural machine comprises a central commodity storage tank configured to store commodity, a row unit having a hopper configured to receive the commodity from the tank and a meter configured to distribute the commodity from the hopper to the soil. A manifold assembly is positioned between the central storage tank and the hopper and includes a controllable valve configured to direct commodity. The controller moves the valve between positions to direct commodity from the central storage tank to the hopper and either from the hopper to the central storage tank or from the hopper to a seed bin separate from the central storage tank. The controller may move the valve in response to measured characteristics associated with the distribution of commodity or in response to input from a user interface.

Abstract: A bulk seed cart has a dual conveyor system adjustable about three axes to provide easy alignment of the conveyor discharge chute over a planter seed tank fill opening. The conveyor assembly is adjustable about a vertical axis between field and transport positions, about a first horizontal axis for laterally extending and retracting the discharge chute, and about a second horizontal axis for raising and lowering the discharge chute. The inner and outer conveyors of the conveyor assembly are linked to move in unison in a lateral direction about a first horizontal pivot axis. The outer conveyer is pivotal about the second horizontal axis and the vertical axis.
