摘要: A floating seaweed and floating aquatic plant farming system includes an enclosed area positioned in a water body. The enclosed area is defined by one or more floating booms each including an attached mesh skirt. The system also includes a harvesting system for collecting seaweed growth in the floating enclosed area. The harvesting system is static or dynamic in relation to the floating enclosed area. The system may also include a processing system on a vessel containing the harvesting system. The one or more floating booms are secured in a location in the water body with an anchor system or with pilings. Alternatively, the enclosed area is defined by one or more mesh panels each secured to, and extending across spaces between, pilings. The seaweed is grown within the enclosed area and harvested by the harvesting system.

摘要: A system and method for commercial production of aqueous Sargassum seaweed extract concentrate having arsenic level of around 1.32-15 mg/l; cadmium level of around 0.005-5 mg/l; lead level of around 0.2-12 mg/l; mercury level of around 0.00002-2 mg/l; and pH of around 7.4-9 is disclosed. The resulting seaweed extract concentrate can be used in plant and soil amendments, rooting hormones, other organic plant and soil amendments, organic fertilizers, adjuvants for use with organic pesticides, organic fungicides, in combinations of organic pesticides, with fungicides, and as fertilizers for agricultural, commercial and domestic use. The resulting seaweed extract concentrate can also be used to regulate plant growth, or as a plant nutrient. The method is believed to be able to prepare an extract concentrate from any high protein biomass, including Sargassum, water hyacinth or other seaweed.

摘要: A seaweed farming system may include a harvesting unit. The harvesting unit may include a harvest disintegrator. The harvest disintegrator may be configured to receive a plantation substrate having mature seaweed thereon after severing a vegetative portion of seaweed. The harvesting unit may further be configured to disintegrate the mature seaweed to separate the mature seaweed from the plantation substrate, the plantation substrate remaining intact during separation of the mature seaweed.

摘要: Contaminating material is extracted from a body of water by providing a floating bed on which plants such as Cat Tails can be grown with their roots hanging into the body of water over an area where extraction of contaminating material from the body of water is required, growing the plants to take up the contaminating material from the body of water and harvesting the upstanding plant mass by moving the bed to a harvesting machine which cuts away the plant mass leaving at least part of the root mass to continue growing into a new season. The bed can be returned to a location for the next season.

In an embodiment, the seaweed farming system (100) includes a seaweed farm operating assembly (102) which further includes a harvesting unit (106) to separate vegetative portion of seaweed from mature seaweed. The mature seaweed can grow on a plantation substrate (110). The seaweed farm operating assembly (102) also includes a seeding unit (108) to receive the vegetative portion of the seaweed from the harvesting unit (106) and to sow the vegetative portion of the seaweed in a fresh plantation substrate.

摘要: An aquatic weed harvester includes an open frame and a tubular mesh harvesting material that is secured to the open frame via a series of hooks disposed about the harvesting frame. The frame can be secured to a bow of a floatable structure or vessel via a variety of configurations, such as a pair of mounting channels or a rotating frame assembly. The rotating frame assembly allows the user to rotate the harvester between an in use orientation and a stored orientation. When placed in a stored orientation, the harvester opening is rotated upwards aiding the user in sealing the harvesting bag. The vessel preferably is designed having a split bow, where the weed harvester is positioned between the two bow extensions.

摘要: The present invention relates to lake weed harvester, and in particular to a machine that removes lake weed and deposits it via a transport assembly onto a hopper, and then removes the lake weed via the same transport assembly from the hopper. In one embodiment, the harvester comprises a boat supporting a deck, a hopper, a control station and a transport assembly operable from the control station. The transport assembly can have a conveyor and a roller that combine to pull weeds at their roots. The transport assembly can pivot between a first position wherein weeds are harvested and deposited via an inclined plane into a hopper, and a second position wherein the weeds are removed from the hopper and transported to a disposal point also via an inclined plane. The transport assembly can selectively oriented under operation of actuators.
