Abstract: The present animal cooling mat apparatus includes a mat shell, at least one coolant sheet, at least one cushioning pad, and at least one foam pad. The coolant sheet is removably located within the mat shell, with the cushioning pad removably located within the mat shell above the at least one coolant sheet and the insulating pad is located within the mat shell below the at least one coolant sheet. The coolant sheet provides a heat sink to rapidly cool an animal, while the cushioning pad facilitates heat transfer and the insulating pad reduces the amount of ambient heat transferred from the environment. Multiple apparatuses may be combined to accommodate larger animals.

Abstract: Disclosed is an elastic layer for a mattress structure designed for the comfort of animals in a breeding enclosure, the mattress structure being intended to cover the ground of a receiving area. This elastic layer includes a top face capable of undergoing elastic deformation and that includes a location on which an animal is intended to be supported. The elastic layer is delimited by borders, at least one border being a fastening band intended to receive a structure securing the receiving area with the ground. The fastening band is formed by a lip, the thickness of which is less than the thickness of the elastic layer. Such a structure of the fastening band allows the securing component to be installed at the lip. The securing component can then be protected and covered by the lip, so as to prevent direct contact with the animals.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a plant-based cat litter and a preparation method thereof, and relates to the technical field of pet products. In the present disclosure, the plant-based cat litter is prepared by coconut shell fiber, coffee grounds, starch, a binder, and water. The plant-based cat litter adopts purely natural, pollution-free, safe, and non-toxic raw materials, is easy to clean, has desirable adsorption and deodorization effects, and cannot be moldy after long-term storage. The plant-based cat litter is easy to use, is not easy to be broken and fractured during storage and transportation, and shows excellent coating properties on feces. Therefore, the plant-based cat litter can effectively improve a living environment of cats.

Abstract: A bed for at least one animal is provided. The bed includes a strip of belting having a front end, a back end, and opposing sides, an animal bed having a first fluid chamber and a second fluid chamber. A first fluid supply tube is in fluid connection with the first chamber, and a second fluid supply tube is in fluid connection with the second chamber, wherein the first and second chambers are fluidly isolated from one another. A method of preparing for use a bed for at least one animal is also provided. In addition, a system for using a bed for at least one animal is also provided.

Abstract: Animal litter comprising composite particles including powdered sodium bentonite and powdered activated carbon, agglomerated together into the composite particles, wherein the animal litter has a particle size distribution of 16/50 mesh (i.e., 300 μm to 1180 μm in size). The litter may include non-composite, granular clay particles (e.g., granular sodium bentonite) having the same particle size distribution (16/50 mesh). Such particle size characteristics significantly reduce dusting, without the need for a de-dusting agent, reduce clump depth and/or reduce clump width at the bottom of the clump (both acting to reduce risk of clumps sticking to the bottom of the litter box) and result in more efficient use of the litter in clumping (reduced clump weight) by increasing absorbency.
