摘要: A system and method for automatically matching a sensor device attached to an animal with an ID tag attached to the animal, wherein a reader device, located in or alongside a passage of an animal enclosure, transmits a signal toward the animal in the passage that triggers the ID tag to transmit ID information, and a monitoring device in communication with the reader device receives the ID information from the reader device, receives sensor device information from the sensor device including a sensor device identity, and determines that the ID tag and the sensor device are attached to a same animal based on time information associated with the ID information and the sensor device information.

摘要: A system and method for estimating livestock weight is described. Embodiments of the system can include a computing device and a three-dimensional tag configured to be secured to an animal. One or more images of an animal, including the three-dimensional tag, can be processed to take various measurements of the animal. A scaling factor for the measurements can be based on the three-dimensional tag. After the measurement are calibrated, a weight of the animal can be estimated based on the calibrated measurements.

摘要: A method of in-vehicle tracking begins with establishing a communication link between a mobile device and a navigation system of a vehicle. The navigation system presents driving instructions leading to a destination. Each of a plurality of locations is serially passed over the communication link from the mobile device to the navigation system. Additionally, each of the plurality of locations is serially set, as it is communicated, as the destination within the navigation system. As the destination within the navigation system is updated, the driving instructions leading to that destination are updated as well.

摘要: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for automated behavioral and physiological testing of untethered testing animals. An automated behavioral testing system communicates with electronic devices attached to testing animals to provide automated physiological measurements and perturbations. The electronic devices are wirelessly charged to eliminate the need to remove the electronic devices during the course of the study. The automated behavioral testing system includes a filtering chamber positioned between a housing chamber and a behavioral testing chamber. The filtering chamber provides a passageway between the housing chamber and the behavioral testing chamber used to manage access to the behavioral testing chamber. For example, a gate component implemented between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber can be configured into either a closed configuration to restrict access between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber, or an open configuration to permit between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber.
