摘要: A system and method for automatically matching a sensor device attached to an animal with an ID tag attached to the animal, wherein a reader device, located in or alongside a passage of an animal enclosure, transmits a signal toward the animal in the passage that triggers the ID tag to transmit ID information, and a monitoring device in communication with the reader device receives the ID information from the reader device, receives sensor device information from the sensor device including a sensor device identity, and determines that the ID tag and the sensor device are attached to a same animal based on time information associated with the ID information and the sensor device information.

摘要: A detector for detecting a signal from one or more feeders. A processor is in communication with the can be configured with an artificial intelligence module and a library of pre-recorded action events and for comparing the signal with the library of pre-recorded action events and determining a likely action event. A warning device can be in communication with the processor for providing an output in response to the likely action event. At least one false positive sensor in communication with either the processor or the warning device or both of the processor and the warning device can be used for stopping the output from the warning device upon a predetermined condition.

摘要: Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for automated behavioral and physiological testing of untethered testing animals. An automated behavioral testing system communicates with electronic devices attached to testing animals to provide automated physiological measurements and perturbations. The electronic devices are wirelessly charged to eliminate the need to remove the electronic devices during the course of the study. The automated behavioral testing system includes a filtering chamber positioned between a housing chamber and a behavioral testing chamber. The filtering chamber provides a passageway between the housing chamber and the behavioral testing chamber used to manage access to the behavioral testing chamber. For example, a gate component implemented between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber can be configured into either a closed configuration to restrict access between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber, or an open configuration to permit between the filtering chamber and the behavioral testing chamber.

摘要: There is provided a computer implemented method of training a machine learning model, comprising: computing at least one in-colony feature indicative of an internal state of a sample honeybee colony positioned for pollination of at least one crop in a geographical area, from output of at least one internal sensor monitoring the honeybee colony, computing at least one out-colony feature indicative of an external environment of the sample honeybee colony, from output of at least one external sensor monitoring the environment of the honeybee colony, creating a multi-record training dataset, wherein a record comprises: a combination of at least one in-colony feature and at least one out-colony feature, and a ground truth label indicating pollination effectiveness of the sample honeybee colony, and training a machine learning model on the multi-record training dataset.

摘要: A system configured to receive video and/or images from an image capture device over a livestock path, generate feature maps from an image of the video by applying at least a first convolutional neural network, slide a window across the feature maps to obtain a plurality of anchor shapes, determine if each anchor shape contains an object to generate a plurality of regions of interest, each of the plurality of regions of interest being a non-rectangular, polygonal shape, extract feature maps from each region of interest, classify objects in each region of interest, in parallel with classification, predict segmentation masks on at least a subset of the regions of interest in a pixel-to-pixel manner, identify individual animals within the objects based on classifications and the segmentation masks, and count individual animals based on identification, and provide the count to a digital device for display, processing, and/or reporting.
