摘要： The present invention relates to a weatherproof ashtray device having an improved ashtray concealed within a deck post cap. The cap is adapted to be placed on a top end of a deck post and configured to receive the tray or ashtray. The cap has a hinged cover that can be pivotally opened to access the ashtray for use. The ashtray remains secured inside the cap thereby eliminating risk of being knocked off. Further, the cover protects the ashtray from weather elements. The ashtray device enables the deck post to function as normal while offering a place for individuals to discreetly smoke and dispose of their ashes, cigarette butts, and cigar butts. The cap and ashtray are weatherproof to prevent damage due to wind, rain, snow, and other inclement weather.

摘要： A disposable ashtray includes a container sidewall having a screen at the bottom and a bottom cover allowing the ashtray container to be filled with sand. In this state, the ashtray is freestanding, has dimensional integrity and can be moved. The user stubs cigarettes and cigars into the sand medium through the major opening in the top of the ashtray. After use, the bottom cover is removed, and sand flows through the screen and butts and trash are retained above the screen. The entire device, including screen, container sidewall and bottom cover, may then be disposed of.

摘要： A system for simulating ash removal from a smoking article and a related method are provided. The system includes a support arrangement supporting at least a portion of a smoking article to form a cantilever with respect to the support arrangement. The system also includes a suction device in fluid communication with the first longitudinal end of the smoking article, the suction device being configured to apply suction to the first longitudinal end to simulate a draw or puff on the smoking article. The system further includes an ignition device configured to ignite an ignitable material of the smoking article about the second longitudinal end thereof, the ignited ignitable material being transformed to an ash in response to successive draws or puffs applied by the suction device. The system still further including an ash-dislodging mechanism configured to selectively impact the cantilevered smoking article to periodically remove the ash.

摘要： An ecocompatible container for recycling cigarette butts is constituted by a cylinder including an openable upper cover (300), a base (200) and an intermediate portion (100) which houses a common hopper (110) in external communication with ashtrays (119) through which the cigarette butts are introduced, wherein via the hopper (110), the butts are introduced into a screening basket (130) with balls (131), in which the rotation of the screening basket (130) allows, by mutual impact and friction of the balls (131), crushing the cigarette butts and hence effectively separating the organic portion, i.e. the filter paper and the residual tobacco that fall by gravity through holes (139) into an underlying suitable collection container (150), from the resistant, fibrous portion constituted only by the filters of the cigarettes which, when sucked by a small suction motor (140), will fall into an underlying filter accumulation chamber (160).
