    摘要： An ambidextrous or hand-specific glove including a wrist region, palm region, and at least one digit region having a fingertip region and a remaining portion. A part of a 360° perimeter of the fingertip region is reduced in length relative to the perimeter of the remaining portion of that digit region. The reduced circumference fingertip region is configured to be smaller than the tip of a user's finger or thumb when inserted into the glove. The reduction in the circumference of the fingertip region may include reducing an arcuate length of a pair of opposed sections of the fingertip region. The opposed sections may be sections of the front and rear surfaces of the digit region or opposed sections of the first side surface and second side surface of the digit region.

    摘要： An object of the present invention is to provide a glove in which a hand can be easily inserted and removed through an opening and which is less likely to shift from a suitable position when the glove is in a wearing state. An aspect of the present invention is a glove including: a glove main body having an opening through which a wearer's hand is able to be inserted and removed and a notch which extends from the opening toward a fingertip side, the glove main body covering the hand; a tongue piece, one end of which is fastened to the glove main body on a dorsal side of the hand with respect to a palm surface and on a thumb side with respect to the notch, and an other end of which is a free end; and a restricting portion which is fastened to the glove main body and is capable of restricting movement of the free end of the tongue piece on the dorsal side of the hand with respect to the palm surface and on a pinky finger side with respect to the notch, wherein on the dorsal side of the hand with respect to the palm surface and on the thumb side with respect to a middle finger, the notch extending from the opening toward the fingertip side is formed in the glove main body, and the restricting portion is configured to enable restricting such that the free end is positioned on the fingertip side with respect to the one end of the tongue piece.

    摘要： A color splash effect is established by a darker backdrop color of an outer surface of a liquid proof and heat resistant glove in the event that a portion of the glove ruptures or fails. The color splash effect is accomplished by a lighter and brighter color being visible through the rupture in the glove. The lighter and brighter color may be formed on or as part of a protective member positioned beneath the outer layer. The protective member also protects the wearer against sharp objects contacting the outer layer of the glove and moving over the protective member. Some embodiments provide that the protective member is in a thumb crotch region of the glove.

    摘要： A safety glove having a protective member or insert extending around the fingertip of the safety glove is provided. The protective member may be positioned along the outer surface or the inner surface of the glove. Alternatively, the protective member may be integrally formed between two layers of glove material. The protective member terminates distally from an interphalangeal joint line to enable finger flexion in order to grasp an item, such as a slab of meat to be deskinned in a skinning machine. The glove may include a rough outer surface formed from thrice dipping the glove and allowing the glove to cure. Additionally, the glove may have a width near the wrist that is wider than the width near the palm to enable the glove to be rapidly removed (i.e., doffed) in an emergency event of the glove getting caught in a rotating blade on the skinning machine.
