摘要: The present disclosure relates to structures and methods of use of textiles for protection, and more particularly. relates to single layer knitted structures that can be worn as garments to block mosquito bites. The knit structures of the present embodiments can include single layer structures having a unique geometric combination of yarn properties and textiles to block mosquito bites in a single. comfortable layer of fabric. The knit structures can include one or more controllable parameters that can be adjusted to increase and/or decrease the bite blocking ability of the knit structure.

摘要: Described herein are apparatuses and methods for dyeing garments. An exemplary apparatus comprises a dye injection system configured to dispense concentrated liquid dye; a dyeing machine comprising a dyeing chamber configured for dyeing at least one garment in a dyebath; and a controller in communication with the dye injection system and the dyeing machine, wherein the controller is configured: to receive at least one garment parameter corresponding to the at least one garment; based at least in part on the at least one received garment parameter, cause the dye injection system to dispense a volume of concentrated liquid dye containing an amount of dyestuff that can be substantially absorbed by the at least one garment; and cause the dyeing machine to execute a dye cycle such that substantially all of the dyestuff in the dispensed concentrated liquid dye is absorbed by the at least one garment within the dyeing chamber.

摘要: Provided is a garment made of a stretchable fabric and having an opening. The opening has a structure in which a fabric edge is folded back, and the fabric edge is fastened to a main body of the fabric with adhesives, a part of the opening is formed with a pattern in which curvature of the opening changes, and a row of the adhesives that are applied on a side closest to the edge of the fabric is applied within 2 mm from the edge of the fabric, and a difference between an average of spacings between adjacent adhesives applied in a row in a 3-cm section of a portion having the largest curvature radius at the opening and an average of spacings between adjacent adhesives applied in a row in a 3-cm section of a portion having a smaller curvature radius at the opening is within 15%.

摘要: A method of creating custom garments at scale comprising utilization of a multitude of numerical customer measurement inputs and non-numerical customer fit style inputs to generate finished garment measurements. A multitude of fit block and sized versions of the garment are mass-manufactured, and then a matching and selecting process is applied to select a fit block and sized version of the garment after comparison of the finished garment measurements with the fit block and size measurements. Variances between the measurements are used to guide matching to a particular fit block and size as well as to generate alteration outputs and instructions for tailoring the fit block and sized garment into a custom garment altered to the individual customer’s measurements and inputs.

摘要: A system allows a user to create new designs for apparel and preview these designs before manufacture. Software and lasers are used in finishing apparel to produce a desired wear pattern or other design. The user's preview may be based upon a two-dimensional image of a wear pattern in a laser input file and, from a set of two-dimensional images of a base garment, create a three-dimensional view of the base garment with the wear pattern.

摘要: An on-demand manufacturing of apparel system includes online customization and ordering of garments, previewing of the garments, manufacturing including laser finishing of garments, and delivery to the customer. Laser finishing of apparel products reduces finishing cost, lowers carrying costs, increases productivity, shortens time to market, be more reactive to trends, reduces product constraints, reduces lost sales and dilution, and more. Fabric templates can be used to produce a multitude of laser finishes. Operational efficiency is improved.
