Abstract: A shaker for housing and dispensing food or drink items. The shaker has a top can sitting atop a bottom can. Each can contains a separate component. The top can is removed and its contents are added to the second can. This allows the user to control how much of the contents from the top can are added to the bottom can. A single multi-compartment vessel houses two separate ingredients and prevents their mixing.

Abstract: A drinking container has a lid that attaches to a vessel. The lid has a sidewall that forms a chamber with an opening. A spring-loaded door is pivotable between a closed position that seals the chamber opening from the vessel and an open position that allows transfer of fluid or solids between the chamber and the vessel. A lever has a catch that engages and holds the door in the closed position unless the lever is actuated by the user. The lever can be actuated by the user through an area on the lid that allows operation of the lever from the exterior of the container. The drinking container may include additional chambers with corresponding spring-loaded doors that are released through an area on the lid.

The additive cartridge may be reusable or disposable depending on a user's preference.

Abstract: A stir stick forming assembly for a stir stick dispenser in a beverage vending machine comprises an inlet passage for a tape for forming the stir sticks, an outlet opening for the stir sticks, and, between the inlet passage and the outlet opening, a tape feeding assembly to feed the tape and a tape cutting assembly to transversally cut the tape and form the sticks. The tape feeding and cutting assemblies are driven by a single common electric motor and designed to feed the tape when the electric motor is rotated in one rotation direction and to cut the tape when the electric motor is driven in the opposite rotation direction under the control of a command and control unit.

Abstract: An adjustable additive cartridge that provides adjustable metering of additive to a base fluid as the base fluid is flowing through the cartridge. A spout is mounted for limited rotation within a base element of the cartridge. Rotation of the spout results in varying degrees of flow of additive into a base fluid flow path through the cartridge. The cartridge may be used with a portable beverage container, such as a sports bottle or off-the-shelf water bottle. The supply of base fluid in a container used with the cartridge may be kept in an unmixed, pure state, and other cartridges, each having different additives (i.e., flavors) may be used interchangeably with the same base fluid supply. The cartridge allows a consumer/user to experience different additives, such as different flavors or supplement compositions, for a given supply of base liquid in a single container. A check valve on the cartridge prevents backflow of the base fluid. An integrated filter for filtering base fluid flowing into the cartridge may be provided. The additive cartridge may be sealed to provide for extended storage and to provide a user/consumer with evidence of integrity, quality and/or tampering prior to purchase and/or use. Visual and tactile indicators of the amount of additive being added to a base fluid may be provided. A container may retain a spare additive adjustable cartridge on the container.

Abstract: A container assembly for storing multiple liquids is disclosed. The container assembly comprises a container body having a first compartment and a second compartment. Abstract: Provided is a robot, including: a controller; a plurality of actuators mechanically coupled to an end-effector mount; a first set of end-effectors magnetically coupled to the end-effector mount; and a sensor adjacent an interface between at least some of the first set of end effectors and the end-effector mount, wherein: the end effectors are magnetically coupled to the end-effector mount with magnetic couplings that decouple in response to less than 200 Newtons of force being applied to distal portions of respective end effectors in a direction opposing movement of respective end effectors driven by at least some of the actuators, and the sensor is configured to output a signal indicative of a given end effector decoupling and indicate which end effector in the first decoupled.

Abstract: Disclosed is an electric stirring cup, where one end of a hollow cup body is connected with a cup cover through threaded connection; one end of the hollow cup body far from the cup cover is connected with a base; a connecting end is integrally formed on the base; an inner wall of the one end of the hollow cup body far from the cup cover forms a connecting cavity, the connecting cavity is in threaded connection with the connecting end; a stirring mechanism is installed in the base; and a drinking mechanism is installed on the cup cover. A drink that needs to be stirred is poured in, and after being directly stirred and mixed through the stirring mechanism, the drink may be consumed after the cup cover is unscrewed, whereby the electric stirring cup is easy to use. The hollow cup cavity and the stirring mechanism may be directly cleaned after disassembling the base, whereby the electric stirring cup is easy to clean.
