摘要： A dynamic vacuum cleaning device permits continuous or intermittent extraction, aspiration and elimination of solid dusts and particles from a stationary or moving surface. The vacuum is created by forcing a gas at high velocity into a venturi. A tube extending from the venturi will have a negative pressure created therein, resulting in a suction. A brush may optionally be fitted to the end of the vacuum tube. An adjustable cam is provided to control the amount of suction. The device can be used for the vacuum cleaning of sensitive optical, phonic or delicate micromechanical apparatus.

摘要： A convertible rotary lawn mower and air blower including a mower housing having wheels for movably supporting the housing on the ground and having an engine supported on the housing. The housing has an outer depending skirt, and it has a circular wall spaced radially inwardly from the skirt, such that the skirt and the wall define an air channel in the housing. Air inlet openings are in the housing and permit air to flow from above the housing and into the air channel, and an air-fanning blade in the channel moves the air around the channel and out an air outlet opening in the housing. A cover is removably positioned below the housing to be air tight therewith at the lower edge of the skirt for confining the flow of air around the channel and defining the bottom of the air channel and thus converting the mower to an air blower, and an air chute is attachable to the housing at the air outlet opening for directing the outlet of the air.

摘要： A collapsible infant's crib is provided with hinged sides which fold inwardly. The side hinges are constructed to be slightly non-linear when in the open position, to provide an inward bias which prevents undue flexing of the joint when the crib is in use. The crib is held in open position by a tightly fitting bottom which opposes the inward bias of the sides and holds them straight. The sides are attached to the end of the crib by means of brackets of unequal length such that the crib folds down very compactly.

The hand pump contains a cylinder, a handle, a piston movable inside the cylinder, and a cone shaped nozzle. The piston is attached to the handle at the first end of the cylinder; and the cylinder has the nozzle at the second end of the cylinder. A battery operated or rechargeable shake or crank flashlight or crank low voltage electric generator may also be attached to or combined with the pump to make it multifunctional and add to its utility.

摘要： A system for cleaning internal optical components of a fiber optic connector includes a source of cleaning medium such as compressed air connected to a cleaning tip. The cleaning tip has a body and a tongue that is configured to be inserted into the end of the fiber optic connector. Nozzles are formed on the tongue. The tongue may have features to open shutters and/or other protective features in the connector that normally protect the internal optical components. When the tongue is inserted into the end of the connector, the nozzles are positioned adjacent optical components to be cleaned and compressed air is delivered through the nozzles to clean the components. Backwash can be exhausted around the tongue or through the tongue to eject contaminants from the fiber optic connector.

摘要： A solder evacuation system for removing molten solder from multiple holes in a printed circuit board. The system comprises a hollow cup assembly adapted to contact the printed circuit board. The cup assembly includes a resilient mouth adapted to contact the circuit board and encircle the molten solder area. Conduit means are connected to the cup assembly and in communication with the interior thereof. A vacuum source is connected to the conduit means and is operative for instantaneously generating a vacuum. The vacuum source comprises a hollow cylinder having a piston therein and a port to which the conduit is connected. The piston is connected to spring means which are operative when enabled to instantaneously pull the piston down the cylinder to create the vacuum. Quick-acting latch means are provided coupled to the piston to enable the piston to be withdrawn by the spring instantaneously in response to the unlatching of the latch means.
