摘要: An apparatus and method are provided for a syndesmosis treatment construct configured to be placed into a cinched configuration that presses a first bone against a second bone. The syndesmosis treatment construct comprises a proximal fixator to contact the first bone and a distal fixator to contact the second bone. A first suture and a second suture are parallelly looped through the distal fixator. A free splice slidably rides on proximal ends and distal ends of both of the first and second sutures. The distal ends are looped through the proximal fixator and bound within a stitch splice. The proximal ends are passed outside of the stitch splice and through the proximal fixator. The free splices compress and seize the proximal ends during pulling of the proximal ends by a practitioner so as to maintain the cinched configuration.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for securing tissue to bone. A surgical system can include a driver having a proximal handle and a driver shaft extending therefrom, a distal awl shaft, a proximal awl shaft separate from the distal awl shaft and movable with respect to the distal awl shaft, a suture anchor, and a dilator feature distal to the suture anchor. The distal and proximal awl shafts are receivable in at least part of a lumen of the driver. In a bone forming configuration of the system, in which the distal awl shaft is driven into bone, a distal end of the proximal awl shaft abuts a proximal end of the distal awl shaft. The proximal awl shaft can be moved proximally, such as by activating an awl handle coupled thereto, with respect to the distal awl shaft to move the system in a suture anchor insertion configuration.

摘要: An automatic needle mover for moving a medical threaded needle includes: two shafts extending in the same direction and slidable relative to each other along a longitudinal direction; a needle-holding portion provided on one end side of the second shaft; a needle-receiving portion provided on one end side of the first shaft; and a handle serving as a control portion for controlling the sliding of the two shafts. The needle-holding portion has a first claw portion protruding in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the shafts. The needle-receiving portion has a second claw portion protruding in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the shafts. As a result of the sliding of the two shafts, the needle-holding portion and the needle-receiving portion become close to each other and a straight needle held by the needle-holding portion can be press-fitted into the needle-receiving portion.

摘要: Arthroscopic devices adapted for minimally invasive procedures, such as bone augmentations and reconstructive surgery, are provided. The arthroscopic devices include a drill guide adapted for efficiently and accurately positioning pilot holes and surgical instrumentation relative to the bone; a surgical cable, such as an elastomeric surgical cable, adapted for applying a compressive force across the bone fragments after the surgical repair to promote healing; and a tensioner and crimping device for applying tension to the surgical cable and securing the surgical cable in place. A surgical procedure is also disclosed where a cerclage is applied arthroscopically by passing a member such as an elastomeric ribbon through the glenoid and a bone graft, where the member is tensioned and fixed into place to hold the bone graft in firm contact with the glenoid to facilitate healing.

摘要: Systems, devices, and methods are provided for securing soft tissue to bone, for securing one or more objects using a surgical filament, and for drawing two or more tissues together so they can be secured in a desired location. One exemplary embodiment of a surgical repair construct that is configured to atraumatically pass through soft tissue to secure tissue in a knotless manner includes a snare linkage, a collapsible loop, and a flexible suture pin. The snare linkage can include a collapsible snare for receiving the collapsible loop, and in use the snare can be collapsed around the collapsible loop and advanced distally towards the bone until the snare is proximate to the tissue, while the collapsible loop can be collapsed distally towards the bone to bring the tissue into proximity with the bone. Other exemplary systems, devices, and methods for use with soft tissue repair are also provided.

摘要: A method cinches a suture. The method provides a cinch having a suture capturing portion configured to capture a suture, a cinch lock coupled with the suture capturing portion, and a cinch anchor having a lumen. The suture capturing portion is extended out of the lumen to capture the suture. The suture is captured by the suture capturing portion. The suture capturing portion is retracted into the lumen of the cinch anchor. The suture is cinched between the cinch lock and the cinch anchor.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a heart valve repair method, comprising: advancing a distal end of a suture implanting apparatus from an outside of a body through a transapical approach into a left ventricle or a right ventricle of a heart; holding each leaflet of a heart valve with the distal end of the suture implanting apparatus; implanting at least one suture into the leaflet; withdrawing the suture implanting apparatus from the body; advancing a distal end of a suture locking apparatus from the outside of a body through a transapical approach into the corresponding left ventricle or the corresponding right ventricle; using the suture locking apparatus to lock the plurality of sutures; and withdrawing the suture locking apparatus from the body. The heart valve repair method has a simple surgical procedure, a low degree of patient trauma, and a high success rate of surgery.
