    Abstract: A surgical anchor device for being anchored on the mucous membrane of the inner wall of the intestine, the device having a temporary anchor element presenting anchoring that can be modified in a controlled manner and having a first substantially cylindrical multiply-perforated wall presenting properties of radial elasticity whereby the first wall presents an outer diameter that can be varied in controlled manner, wherein a portion of the inner surface of the first wall is lined with an independent leakproof inner sheath having only its longitudinal ends fastened to the anchor element to define a suction chamber between the inner sheath and the first wall, the temporary anchor element being coupled to a flexible or semi-rigid tube extending outside the anchor element, an open end of the injection-suction tube opening out into the suction chamber enabling air to be injected into or sucked out from the suction chamber.

    Abstract: A clip device includes a sheath having a lumen with at least one open end and a plurality of clip arms movable between a first configuration in which the plurality of clip arms are opened to receive a target tissue, and a second configuration in which the plurality of clip arms are closed to grip the target tissue. Locking mechanisms respectively provided on the plurality of clip arms engage one another for maintaining the second configuration. A restraining mechanism is optionally configured to be associated with the locking mechanisms to prevent the target tissue from being pinched between the locking mechanisms.

    Abstract: The present disclosure pertains to medical devices. More particularly, the present disclosure pertains to devices, systems, and methods for closing a wound, such as a tissue defect resulting from an endoscopic mucosal resection or endoscopic submucosal dissection procedure. In one example, a device for closing a wound may include a closure element having a delivery configuration and a deployed configuration, the closure element configured to be disposed about an endcap of an endoscope in a delivery configuration. A release filament may have a distal end releasably coupled to the closure element and a proximal end extendable within the endcap. The closure element may be configured to substantially close about the wound in the deployed configuration.

    Abstract: An adhesion device incorporates element block assemblies partially disposed within an element support body having an engagement surface. Each element block assembly may include an element activation sheet, an element deployment sheet, a plurality of engagement elements, and an element transition mechanism operatively coupled to the engagement elements. The element transition mechanism is reversible to transition from a neutral configuration wherein the element activation sheet is substantially adjacent to the element deployment sheet, and an expanded configuration wherein the element activation sheet and the element deployment sheet are separated by a transition gap. The element support body, while each element transition mechanism is disposed in the neutral configuration, constrains each engagement element in a deployment state with a substantially straightened configuration perpendicular to the engagement surface and suitable for insertion into (or removal from) a target material. The element support body, while each element transition mechanism is disposed in the expanded configuration, constrains each engagement element in an engagement state eccentrically tensioned as the result of the transition gap into a reactive flexure to capture surrounding target material.

    Abstract: A compression device includes an adhesion sheet including an adhesion surface; and a compression member mounted on the adhesion sheet and configured to compress a biological surface. The compression member includes a fixing portion fixed to the adhesion sheet on a side of the sheet opposite the adhesion surface in a thickness direction, and a compression main body portion provided in a portion of the compression member, in a plan view seen along the thickness direction, that does not overlap the adhesion sheet. The compression main body is configured to protrude or be protrusible further toward one side in the thickness direction than the adhesion surface. The adhesion sheet includes a first portion to which the fixing portion is fixed and a second portion to which the fixing portion is not fixed. The second portion is provided on at least a compression main body portion side of the adhesion sheet.
