摘要: The invention provides a system and method for determining a respiratory effort for a subject. The method comprises obtaining a relaxed signal representing the subject breathing in a relaxed manner and a forced signal representing the subject breathing in a forced manner. A plurality of forced peaks is derived from the forced signal and candidate peaks are selected from the plurality of forced peaks. The candidate peaks are selected based on features of the forced peaks. A user selects a user identified peak from the candidate peaks and thus, a respiratory effort is determined based on the relaxed signal and the user identified peak.

摘要: A wearable device is provided. The wearable device includes a memory configured to store instructions, at least one display having a display area, a frame configured to support the at least one display, the frame including a nose pad in contact with a part of a user's body wearing the wearable device, a photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor exposed through at least a portion of the frame in contact with other part of the user's body, at least one microphone disposed in the nose pad, and a processor. The processor, when executing the instructions, is configured to identify a breathing state of the user, based at least in part on first data acquired through the PPG sensor and second data acquired through the at least one microphone.

摘要: Devices and methods are provided for breath gas analysis when determining the difference in the concentrations of at least one gas in the exhaled breathing air on the one hand and in the ambient air on the other hand. The device may include at least one gas sensor, by means of which the concentration of a gas can be determined, and a line system, through whose lines the exhaled air to be examined, the ambient air and a calibrating gas can be selectively pumped to the gas sensor. The method may include feeding ambient air; feeding calibrating gas to the gas sensor; feeding exhaled air to the gas sensor; feeding calibrating gas to the gas sensor again; and feeding exhaled air to the gas sensor again.

摘要: A method of monitoring physiological conditions including an acoustic measurement device and a remote controller. The remove controller configured to measure physiological conditions; calculate absolute tidal volume, a direction of tidal volume, and a rate of change of tidal volume; correlate absolute tidal volume, a direction of tidal volume, and a rate of change of tidal volume to a risk score; calculate a direction trend and rate of change for each physiological condition; correlate the direction trend and rate of change for each physiological condition; detect predefined patterns in the direction trend and rate of change of the measured physiological condition at the predetermined interval; and generating at least one from the group consisting of an alert, an alarm, and a medical treatment if the risk score defined on the predefined scale exceeds a first predetermined risk score threshold and at least one predefined pattern is detected.
