摘要: A ring-shaped cushion for a hearing protector or audio headset. The cushion has a circumferential contact pad for sealing on a wearer's head and an attachment for sealing with an earmuff. The cushion further has a sound insulation tube that inwardly defines an inner space. The sound insulation tube extends between the contact pad and the attachment. The cushion has a ventilation passage that extends entirely through the cushion between an inlet opening in the contact pad and an area outside of the inner space. The cushion may further include one or more physiological sensors to monitor the health of a wearer.

摘要: An apparatus for distributing a force to a user's ear resultant of a user's earwear. A cushion can be adapted to fit between a user's ear and a user's head. A curved channel defining a guide channel can pass alone the cushion. A line can extend through the cushion and the curved channel for attaching the ear adapter assembly to a user's eyewear. The cushion can distribute a force applied to a user's ear from a user's earwear to minimize deformation of the user's ear resultant of the compressive force from the user's earwear.

摘要: An audio enhanced hearing protection system to be worn by a user includes an ambient noise reduction assembly having a primary noise reduction unit and a secondary noise reduction unit. 摘要: An ear cover assembly having a resilient frame attached to ear covers via a rotatable mounting located in an upper portion of the ear cover, the resilient frame being configured to apply clamping force to hold the ear covers in place over the wearer's ears and the geometry of the frame and rotational mounting being configured to distribute clamping force over the ear cover to hold the assembly in place when worn. Thus, the ear cover assembly can be supported in place by the rotationally mounted frame rather than a headband. The frame can be used to support elements such as eye protectors, visors, face masks, microphone etc.

摘要: A cushion configured to be secured to an ear cup of a headset and/or hearing protection device. The cushion defines an inner opening and includes a contact surface along a periphery proximal part of the cushion. The contact surface is configured to abut against and contact a user's head around an ear of the user when the headset and/or hearing protection device is worn by the user. The contact surface of the cushion has a predetermined height profile where respective height values of the predetermined height profile at multiple locations of the contact surface vary about a center or center point of the cushion. The locations are located nearest or towards the inner opening, and a first height of the predetermined height profile is a globally largest height. The first height is located in an upper front-facing part of the cushion.

The device is configured to measure a movement of a tympanic membrane in an ear using the TMMU caused by external sound received by the tympanic membrane, analyze at least the movement of the tympanic membrane measured by the TMMU using a predictive model trained by a machine learning technique to generate a waveform of cancellation sound that will destructively interfere with the external sound when received by the tympanic membrane, and output the cancellation sound from the audio package to destructively interfere with external sound received by the tympanic membrane.
