摘要: A system is provided that stabilizes an applicator in response to the motion caused by a user. A motion stabilizer includes a receiver configured to be coupled with the adapter; at least one sensor configured to detect a movement caused by a user; circuitry configured to determine a compensation movement to offset the detected movement; and at least one motion generation device embedded in the receiver configured to control a motion of the cosmetic applicator according to the determined compensation movement. An application is configured to capture an image of the user prior to a session of applying a cosmetic using the cosmetic applicator; capture an image of the user after the session of applying a cosmetic using the cosmetic applicator; detect an error in applying the cosmetic to a portion of the user's body; detect a deviation in the movement of the cosmetic applicator during the session when the error is detected; and adjust settings for the motion stabilizer to compensate for the deviation.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to systems, methods, and devices for interpreting neural signals to determine a desired movement of a target, transmitting electrical signals to the target, and dynamically monitoring subsequent neural signals or movement of the target to change the signal being delivered if necessary, so that the desired movement is achieved. In particular, the neural signals are decoded using a feature extractor, decoder(s) and a body state observer to determine the electrical signals that should be sent.

摘要: A virtual reality system is described herein. The virtual reality system includes a cane controller and a computing system. The cane controller comprises a rod, a sensor, and a brake mechanism, wherein the sensor is configured to generate a signal that is indicative of position, direction of movement, and velocity of the rod, and wherein the brake mechanism is configured to apply a force to the rod. The computing system receives the signal, computes a position, direction of movement, and velocity of a virtual rod in a virtual space, and outputs a control signal to the brake mechanism based upon such computation. The brake mechanism applies the force to the rod in a direction and with a magnitude indicated in the control signal, thereby preventing the user from causing the virtual rod to penetrate a virtual barrier in the virtual space.

摘要: A multi-use footwear tool that has an attachment mechanism with two complementary pieces that can be separated to split the multi-use footwear tool into two sections. A first section of the multi-use footwear tool is an elongated shoehorn and a second section of the multi-use footwear tool is an elongated body. The elongated shoehorn has a shoehorn and the elongated body has a hook. The elongated shoehorn and the elongated body can be attached into one long multi-use footwear tool or separated into individual pieces using the attachment mechanism.

摘要: Mechanisms are provided to implement an intraoral control mechanism that allows a user to control an operation of a computer system or an electronic device. The intraoral control mechanism detects a strain based on a tongue of a user moving a control mechanism away from a fixed position; transduces the detected strain into a control signal; amplifies an amplitude of the control signal thereby producing an amplified control signal; converts the amplified control signal to a digital input signal; modulates the digital input signal onto a transmission frequency wave; and transmits the digital input signal to the computer system. The computer system may then either execute the digital control signal on the computer system itself to perform an operation or transmit the digital control signal to the electronic device so as to operate as indicated by the digital control signal. The digital input signal is saved for characterization of the user.

摘要: The present disclosure discloses a call system for a patient. The call system for the patient comprises a head-mounted device, a head motion detection module, an eyelid blinking detection module, a patient display screen, and a nurse station display screen. The head motion detection module collects relative changes of a head position through an aerial attitude sensor. The eyelid blinking detection module collects a movement distance and a movement duration of an eyelid through a photoelectric motion sensor. When the movement distance of the eyelid reaches a preset distance and the movement duration of the eyelid is longer than a preset duration, a confirmation command is generated to select one of multiple call services in a scroll menu, and the one of the multiple call services selected by the patient is sent to the nurse station display screen by a wired network or a wireless network.

摘要: Systems and methods for tracking unintentional muscle movements of a user and stabilizing a handheld tool while it is being used by the user are described. The method may include detecting motion of a handle of the handheld tool manipulated by a user while the user is performing a task with a user-assistive device attached to an attachment arm of the handheld tool. Furthermore, the method may include storing the detected motion in a memory of the handheld tool as motion data. The method may also include controlling, based on the motion data, a motion-generating mechanism of the handheld tool that moves the attachment arm relative to the handle in a degree of freedom.
