摘要: A protection device for preventing exposure to undesired airborne material. The device including a filter assembly having a filter, and a proximal and a distal layer configured to hold the filter sandwiched between the proximal layer and the distal layer, a one-way valve positioned in the filter assembly and coupled to the proximal layer of the filter assembly, and a seal positioned along a peripheral edge of the filter assembly, the filter assembly and the seal defining a first safety compartment for enclosing a user's mouth and nose. The device can include an eye shield assembly having a skirt extending from the filter assembly and positioned distal to the seal, an optically transparent eye shield coupled to the skirt to form a continuous surface from the filter assembly to a top portion of the eye shield, and a frame coupled to the frame assembly and eye shield assembly.

摘要: A wearable continuous positive airway pressure assembly for protecting a user from breathing airborne particles includes a continuous positive airway pressure machine that has an intake and an exhaust. A pair of shoulder straps is each coupled to the continuous positive airway pressure machine for wearing the continuous positive airway pressure machine on the user's back. An intake hose is fluidly coupled to the intake of the continuous positive airway pressure machine, a filter is fluidly coupled to the intake hose, and an exhaust hose is fluidly coupled to the exhaust of the continuous positive airway pressure machine. A face mask is fluidly coupled to the exhaust hose to receive the pressurized air from the exhaust hose thereby inhibiting the user from breathing ambient air.

摘要: The invention relates to a visual protection device (1) for task forces. According to the invention, in order to reduce the effects of potentially traumatic events on task forces, at least one viewing lens (6) of the visual protection device (1) is designed to reflect and/or absorb light with wavelengths of more than 640 nm, more than 600 nm, more than 560 nm or more than 550 nm more strongly than light in the shorter wavelength range, wherein the shorter wavelength range extends up to wavelengths of 640 nm, 600 nm, 560 nm or 550 nm.

摘要: A therapeutic spectacles device for reliving symptoms of dry eye disease. The device includes a protective housing configured to house a stimulus mechanism and an internal power source; at least one contact pad attached to the protective housing; and an attachment mechanism arranged on the protective housing. The at least one contact pad is configured, to contact a targeted area within a region selected from patient's nasofrontal region, supraorbital region, suborbital region, temporal region, or any combination of the same. The attachment mechanism can be configured to fix the protective housing to the therapeutic spectacles device such that the at least one contact pad rests against the targeted, area, when the therapeutic spectacles device is fixed on spectacles worn by the patient. The stimulus mechanism can be configured to deliver a stimulus through the at least one contact pad to the targeted area.

摘要: A protective face shield assembly is provided. The example protective face shield assembly includes a protective element, a frame, and a face seal. The frame defines a continuous inner frame edge and a continuous outer frame edge. The face seal includes a top portion, a bottom portion, and two side portions as a continuous unit, defining a continuous inner face seal edge and a continuous outer face seal edge. The continuous inner face seal edge is removably affixed against the continuous inner frame edge. The continuous outer face seal edge encapsulates an elastic band that fits against at least a front half portion of the head and face of a user. The face seal contains one or more layers of filter medium suitable for removing particulate matter from the air that flows from exterior air space and into interior air space.

摘要: Provided is an eyeglass lens 1 configured to cause rays that have entered from an object-side surface 3 to be emitted from an eyeball-side surface 4 and cause the emitted rays to converge at a predetermined position A. The eyeglass lens 1 includes a lens base material 2 having a plurality of base material convex portions 6 on at least one of the object-side surface 3 and the eyeball-side surface 4, and a coating film covering the surface provided with the base material convex portions 6, in which convex portions present on the outermost surface of the eyeglass lens 1 located on a side on which the base material convex portions 6 are provided and the base material convex portions 6 have common light ray convergence properties.

摘要: A frame for an eyewear comprises a lens opening and a groove surrounding the lens opening. The lens opening may be defined by an upper frame portion, a lower frame portion, a first lateral side portion, and a second lateral side portion of the frame. The groove may interchangeably receive and secure a first lens and a second lens within the lens opening. The first lens may have a different thickness than the second lens. The lens opening may extend across both eyes of the wearer.
