    Abstract: A nebulizer (1, 102) has a liquid reservoir (3, 112) for supply of liquid to be aerosolized to a first surface of a vibratable aperture plate (41) with apertures having a size in the range of 1 pm to 10 pm. A drive has a piezoelectric annular element on an aperture plate support to cause the aperture plate to vibrate at a drive frequency of 128 kHz to cause droplets to separate from a side of the aperture plate opposed to the reservoir. An outlet conduit (6, 114) is for flow of droplets from the aperture plate. A sensor is arranged with an acoustic transducer in contact with the conduit outer surface to pick up an acoustic signal which is representative of a droplet plume in the conduit, and a processor analyses the signal to provide an output representative of a plume. The monitored acoustic signal frequency band is centred around half of the drive frequency because it takes on average more than one aperture plate cycle to separate a droplet.

    Abstract: A prepuce extruding, cutting, hemostasis, and healing assembly using ultrasonic wave. Ultrasonic wave is applied in extruding, cutting, hemostasis, and healing of prepuce at a conjunction of internal and external tissues of a distal part of a human body. The assembly includes an ultrasonic generating device, a transmission device and a circumcision device. The ultrasonic generating device is used for generating ultrasonic waves, is connected to the transmission device and can send the ultrasonic waves to the transmission device. The transmission device is connected to the circumcision device and can send the ultrasonic waves to the circumcision device. The circumcision device is used for extruding and cutting a prepuce and/or performing hemostasis and/or healing of wounds. In this way, circumcision can be completed within just several seconds, and immediate healing can be achieved, preventing bleeding during and after a surgery.

    Abstract: A nebulizer system of the present invention includes a computer device and a nebulizer head directly connected to the computer device by a USB cable. The computer device supplies a DC voltage through a Vbus line and a GND line of the USB cable, and supplies a control signal having a square waveform through a D+ line and a D− line of the USB cable. The nebulizer head includes a first resonance circuit including a first coil and a first capacitor, a conversion circuit that applies a DC voltage intermittently or alternately polarity-reversedly according to a control signal of the first resonance circuit to generate an AC voltage having a sinusoidal waveform, and an atomizer that is driven by the AC voltage having the sinusoidal waveform and atomizes and ejects a liquid.

    Abstract: A dry powder delivery device may be configured to provide micronized dry powder particles to airways of a user. The device may include a cylindrical container delimiting a chamber containing at least one magnetically-responsive object, a motor external to said chamber, a magnet external to the chamber and rotatably coupled with the motor, and an outflow member configured to direct airflow to a user. The magnetically-responsive object may be coated with micronized dry powder particles, and the motor may be operable to rotate the magnet about an axis. Rotation of the magnet creates a magnetic field that causes the magnetically-responsive object to move in response to the magnetic field and collide with a side wall of the container to deaggregate the dry powder particles and aerosolize the dry powder in the chamber.

    Abstract: Two sub-methods are used together to produce a nozzle unit for a liquid dispenser. The methods include adding a nozzle plate into a nozzle channel of a nozzle unit using an assembly tool which elastically expands the nozzle channel. The assembly tool is inserted in the nozzle channel and expands same, thus moving the nozzle plate into its final position where it remains after the assembly tool is removed. The methods also include attaching a filter to a nozzle unit carrier. In a preparation step, a flat filter material is positioned on the end face of the carrier. Only after the filter material is positioned and a connection of the filter material to the end face is established, a separation process is carried out by which the filter material is cut to surround the end face. The filter material positioned on the end face and cut in situ remains.

    Abstract: A portable nebulizer and a shutdown method of the portable nebulizer are provided. The portable nebulizer includes a medicine storage device, a sensing device, a nebulization device, a driving device and a processing device. The medicine storage device is configured to contain predetermined medical fluid. The sensing device is located in the medicine storage device. The nebulization device is configured to nebulize the predetermined medical fluid and simultaneously transmit a sensing signal to the sensing device. The driving device is electrically connected to the nebulization device and transmits a driving signal to the nebulization device. The processing device is electrically connected to the sensing device and the driving device, and collects electrical information of the sensing signal and electrical information of the driving signal to calculate medical fluid volume indication information.
