Abstract: Traditionally, vital signs monitors in the veterinary setting have been designed for use with human subjects that have simply been repurposed for use in the veterinary space. While some changes may be made to the human monitor to make it more amenable for veterinary use (e.g., changing the monitor display options from “adult” and “pediatric” to “large animal” and “small animal”), these changes are generally only done on a superficial level and thus omit significant veterinary-specific functionality that might otherwise be obtained. Further, vital signs monitors do not include a pre-procedure checklist or any functionality to increase safety awareness and allow clinics to ensure compliance with certain pre-procedure protocols. Accordingly, it is a purpose of the present invention to provide a veterinary-specific vitals signs monitor that overcomes these traditional limitations and increases the ease and efficiency with which veterinary care can be delivered.

Abstract: An anesthetic evaporator is provided. The anesthetic evaporator includes a housing, an anesthetic agent storage tank, a cover, a mechanical pressure relief assembly connected with the anesthetic agent storage tank, and a linkage mechanism. The mechanical pressure relief assembly is provided with a first state in which a pressure within the anesthetic agent storage tank is maintained and a second state in which a pressure within the anesthetic agent storage tank is released. When adding an anesthetic agent, an operation action on the anesthetic evaporator drives the linkage mechanism, and the linkage mechanism drives the mechanical pressure relief assembly to be switched from the first state to the second state.

Abstract: An anesthesia machine exhaust emission control system detects a gas flow in a connection pipeline by an electronic flow detector and displays same by a display, and a controller controls, according to an operating state of the anesthesia machine, a switch so same turns on or turns off the connection pipeline. The method for controlling the connection exhaust emission control system comprises, directly displaying a gas flow value in the connection pipeline by the electronic flow detector, the controller and the display, so that the user can conveniently and accurately read the gas flow value in the connection pipeline. The connection pipeline is turned off when an anesthesia machine is in a standby status, thereby greatly saving exhaust gas recovery resources of a hospital.

Abstract: A connection device allows connection of an anesthetic container (400) to an anesthetic vaporizer (300) in a fluid-tight manner. A port section (1000) of the anesthetic vaporizer can be detachably connected to an adapter (1100) of the port section. With the adapter connected to the port section, a vaporizer-side channel section and a container-side channel section together form a continuous channel for anesthetic. The area of the surface of the port section that points towards the adapter is formed by a vaporizer-side contact profile (K.1, K.8), and the area of the surface of the adapter that points towards the port section is formed by a container-side contact profile (K.25, 28, 31). One contact profile has a projection (1), and the other contact profile has a corresponding recess (25) that contact with one another without an intermediate space. The projection positive-lockingly meshes with the recess.

Abstract: An anesthetic evaporator locking structure for detachably connecting an anesthetic evaporator to an anesthesia main machine is disclosed. The anesthetic evaporator includes a main body and a securing member provided on the main body. The anesthesia main machine includes a driving element and a mating member provided on the anesthesia main machine. The securing member and the mating member mate with each other to form a primary locking mechanism, and when the anesthetic evaporator is in an activated state, the driving element limits the primary locking mechanism to realize secondary locking. The anesthetic evaporator further includes a handle provided on the main body and an unlocking device provided on the handle, and the unlocking device is used for unlocking the primary locking mechanism. The anesthetic evaporator locking structure can realize the double locking and has relatively high safety, and both the locking and unlocking processes can be operated by one hand, which is convenient and quick.
