摘要: The invention is a theranostic delivery system or radiopharmaceutical drugs delivery system with movable workstation having handles. The workstation of theranostic delivery system or radiopharmaceutical drugs delivery system also has an on-board shielded disposal system for waste collection, which is operated by foot actuated system for locked and unlocked modes during the device journey. The theranostic delivery system or radiopharmaceutical drugs delivery system comprises a status light system that illuminates the working area to enable distance monitoring. Further, the delivery system includes a disposable secondary containment system that protects the core workstation from contamination, a configurable dose transporter and a disposable sealed fluid cartridge to withdraw custom volume from the vial or syringe. The delivery system includes a theranostic informatics management system, which contains a computer screen as a graphical user interface with a retractable rotating arm to receive the various patient infusion parameters.

摘要: Provided herein are vaccine delivery systems including a polymer hydrogel non-covalently crossed-linked with a plurality of nanoparticles, a dinucleotide adjuvant encapsulated in the hydrogel, and an antigen encapsulated in the hydrogel. The provided vaccine delivery systems are particularly useful for slowly releasing the antigen and adjuvant within a subject, thereby triggering a more therapeutically effective immune response. Also provided are kits including the disclosed vaccine delivery systems, and methods of using the disclosed materials.

摘要: A system for capture of dose delivery information is provided. The system includes a medication delivery device, a dose information capture device adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device, and a target element adapted to be attached to the medication delivery device. The target element comprises a magnet or ferrous element and the target element attaches to the medication delivery device on a dose delivery mechanism of the medication delivery device. The dose information capture device includes a magnetic position sensor adapted to detect a position of the target element. As an alternative to magnetic sensing, MEMS flow sensors, and the like may also be used. Exemplary systems preferably transmit dose information in real time to remote devices for further processing.

摘要: Fill-finish assemblies facilitating the manufacture of a drug delivery device are disclosed. The fill-finish assembly may include a container, an insertion mechanism, a fluid pathway connection assembly disposed between the container and the insertion mechanism, and a carrier. The insertion mechanism may include a delivery member and an insertion mechanism housing. The insertion mechanism may be configured to move the delivery member from a retracted position inside the insertion mechanism housing to a deployed position outside the insertion mechanism housing. The fluid pathway connection assembly may be selectively activatable to establish fluid communication between the container and the delivery member. The carrier may have a hollow interior containing at least a portion of each of the container, the insertion mechanism, and the fluid pathway connection assembly. The carrier may be configured to hold the container, the insertion mechanism, and the fluid pathway connection assembly in alignment with each other.

摘要: A system for controlled delivery of medical fluids to a patient includes an inlet conduit attached to a source of a medical fluid and an outlet conduit connected to the patient. The inlet and outlet conduits are interconnected by a multiple stage control valve assembly and a pair of syringes. The control valve assembly is alternated between a first state wherein the inlet conduit communicates with a first syringe for transmitting fluid from the source to the first syringe, a second state wherein the first syringe communicates with a second syringe and is isolated from the inlet conduit and the outlet for transmitting fluid from the first syringe to the second syringe, and a third state wherein the second syringe communicates with the outlet and is isolated from the inlet and the first syringe for transmitting fluid from the second syringe to the patient through the outlet.
