The apparatus includes a flame barrier containing one or more metal mesh layers and configured to permit airflow there through while preventing flame break-through. The flame barrier can also have or be connected to one or more temperature or pressure sensors configured to detect blockage of airflow through the flame barrier and to detect damage to the flame barrier. 摘要： A Christmas tree fire extinguishing system is provided, wherein an automatically initiated fire extinguishing agent is contained within a housing below the tree and a plurality of smoke and heat sensors communicate to a control unit. The control unit controls the trigger and interprets the sensor signals, while also sending signals to a communications system upon a fire event to notify the homeowner and/or the local fire authorities. In combination with the fire extinguishing agent, the system can monitor the tree and alert property authorities in the event of a fire to prevent home fires and major property damage. Also provided is an audible fire alert for those in the home, wherein a sound generator is energized if smoke or fire is detected to warn those in the immediate vicinity.

The described system includes a thermostat and Fan in an HVAC interface with a residential HVAC system, a receiver operable to receive a signal indicating the presence of a fire or smoke, and a processor in communication with the receiver and in response, sends a signal to the HVAC interface to cause the residential HVAC system to be shut down. In addition the system also includes camera system sending signal to a display unit displaying the floor and room number on the screen, thus warning the occupants the location of the fire.

摘要： A test cell for an aircraft turbojet, wherein the test cell comprises a U-shaped configuration, with a passageway in the form of an elongated corridor, an inlet chimney, and an outlet chimney. The corridor includes a securing area with a securing arm for holding the turbojet during its test. The passageway furthermore reveals an upstream shutter and a downstream shutter, the two shutters including one pivoting flap or a series of pivoting flaps. In the event of a fire, the shutters close due to autonomous return means. Gravity allows the flap(s) to come down to the closed position and to confine the turbojet in order to rapidly stifle the fire.
