摘要: A personal golfing assistant system is comprised of software running on a PDA attached directly or remotely to a GPS receiver that enables the user to survey and/or electronically capture geophysical golf data. A handheld device connected to or integrated with a GPS receiver can instead be used. Software allows a golfer to use a handheld PDA/GPS unit during the course of play to mark a ball location automatically and/or determine the distance to golf course targets and/or objects, and to analyze golf related data and generate statistics. The system can send a set of parameters tailored for a specific course to a real time tunable GPS to adjust for optimal performance and can adjust measurements to compensate for environmental condition changes. The system provides an improved graphical method for measuring and displaying distances between a golfer and a golf course object, for displaying multiple measured distances along a line of sight between a golfer and a golf object or target, and for orienting a target or object on a display to coincide with a user's line of sight. There is also provided a method for collecting and uploading golf course geographic information services (GIS) data to an internet accessible server, processing the uploaded data, distributing data upon an authorized user request, and downloading the requested data to an electronic device.

摘要: A golf club wrench with a bit portion having a plurality of tip features at one end of the bit portion is disclosed herein. The tip features may include threading, a Philips head shape, a flat head shape, a Torx® head shape, and a hex wrench shape. The different tip features on the wrench can be used to engage with both a mechanical fastener and a weight. The wrench may also include a handle contoured to fit within the hand of a golfer. The golf club wrench can be provided in a kit containing weights and mechanical fasteners having engagement features that mate with one or more of the tip features on the wrench.

摘要: Examples of golf equipment covers and methods to manufacture golf equipment covers are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head cover may include a body portion having an opening to receive a golf club head. The golf club head cover may include a magnetic portion that allows the golf club head cover to be magnetically attached to a metallic structure, such as a steel golf cart basket. The golf club head cover may include a magnet identifier located on or near the magnetic portion. The magnet identifier may notify an individual as to a location of the magnetic portion to aid the individual when the attaching the magnetic portion to the metallic structure. The golf club head cover may include a golf club head identifier that remains visible when the magnetic portion is magnetically attached to the metallic structure.
