摘要： A kit of parts is provided for a functional toy, such as a children's walker or push along wagon. The kit includes one or more connector(s) having a first and second end, and a radially extending flange therebetween; and one or more foam element(s) with at least one essentially planar surface having at least one opening extending perpendicular to the surface for receiving at least the first end of the connector. The connector flange is configured as a stopper for the insertion of the first end into the foam element opening. When the first end is inserted into the foam element opening to the stopper position, and a further suitable amount of force is applied, the flange of the connector is countersunk into the surface of the foam element, and remains countersunk after the further force is removed due to the frictional force between the connector and the opening.

摘要： A riding toy includes a body with a spring assembly supporting the body on a base so that the body may be moved in first and second motions with respect to the base. The riding toy also includes a microcontroller and first and second motion sensors responsive to the first and second motions, respectively. The first and second motion sensors are positioned on the body and in electronic communication with the microcontroller. A sound synthesizing circuit is in electronic communication with the microcontroller and a speaker. The microcontroller is programmed to provide a first sound effect when the first motion sensor detects the first motion and a second sound effect when the second sensor detects the second motion. The first sound effect is varied based on a speed of the first motion and preempts the second sound effect if both the first and second motions are taking place simultaneously. The riding toy also includes a light sensor in electronic communication with the microprocessor. The microprocessor activates the sound synthesizing circuit to produce a third sound effect when the light sensor is triggered.

摘要： A wedge-shaped tilt provider is attached in contact with the bottom surface of a seat and the upper surface of a seat connection member of a rocking mechanism to set the seat to an initial inclined position relative to a reference position. By setting the seat to a forwardly inclined position from a horizontal position where the seated surface of the seat is set horizontal, the user straddling the seat can increase the amount of muscle activity of his or her rectus muscle of abdomen, or abdominal muscle. Further, by setting the seat to a rearwardly inclined position, the user straddling the seat can increase the amount of muscle activity of his or her back muscle such as paraspinal muscle. With use of a rocking type exercising apparatus having the above construction, a stress of exercise simulating horseback riding is given to the user by changing the position of the seat relative to the reference position by a certain degree of inclination, while rocking the seat which the user straddles, whereby the user is selectively provided with an exercising effect onto a specific site of his or her body.
