摘要： An aspect of the present invention provides a toy assembly system comprising a central compartment configured to house a plurality of toy bodies, each toy body having magnetic hubs arranged in an outer region of the body. The system can include outer compartments that house ferromagnetic outer components (e.g., ferromagnetic spheres) separate from the toy bodies and a release mechanism configured to release during a single operation a single toy body and a set of outer components, wherein the single toy body and the set of outer components self-assemble and automatically align. Another aspect provides a toy track system comprising a launch portion configured to magnetically retain the magnetic vehicle in a launch position, a release configured to release the vehicle from the launch position, and a track portion coupled to the launch portion and configured to guide the released vehicle along a predetermined path.

摘要： A toy vehicle includes a plurality of wheels and an electric motor operably coupled to rotate at least one of the wheels. At least the one wheel and preferably each rotated wheel includes a hub and a tire mounted on the hub. The tire has an interior sufficiently hollow to make the wheel buoyant in water and the wheel is sufficiently sealed to prevent water penetration of the interior of the tire with the wheel immersed in water. The tire has a central portion surrounding the hub and a plurality of hollow lobes spaced from one another about the central portion. Each lobe has a pair of opposing outer sides at least one outer side being at least partially inwardly cupped to improve thrust caused by rotation of the wheel in water.

A first wheel is rotatably mounted on the first side of the housing, and a second wheel is rotatably mounted on the second side of the housing. Each of the first and second wheels has a central hub and a plurality of individual vanes rotatably attached to the hub. Each hub has a center disposed along a first axis of rotation. Each vane is rotatable about a second vane axis extending transversely with respect to the first axis. An end of each vane distal to the hub forms a circumferential surface portion of one of the first and second wheels.

摘要： A toy trailer for towing or hauling transportable elements including a unique tow hitch assembly and suitable for use with remotely-controllable motorized toy vehicles having a highly-maneuverable skid steering systems driven by single or dual motors, having a separately motorized loading device pivotally secured to the chassis of the vehicle operative to load, push or pull transportable elements or load same on to the trailer, the motorized vehicle having in one embodiment a hopper mounted on the vehicle, and having an automatic tow hitch mechanism with both the hopper and the hitching mechanism coupled to a motorized loading device gear train which mechanism provides for the sequential actuation of, first, the scoop for loading transportable elements into the hopper or on to the trailer and, second, for actuation of both the hopper for dumping and the hitch mechanism for hitching and unhitching of trailer vehicles, and including control means responsive, without wires connected to the vehicle, to operator control inputs at a remote central control station. The mechanisms and gear trains have proper ratios and dimensions preventing interference between the scoop and the hopper during forward and reverse actuation. The remote central control station being capable of controlling a plurality of vehicles with control inputs from a plurality of operators with each of the individual ones of the plurality of vehicles being compatible with the trailer.

摘要： Toy vehicle wheels are each mounted on an axle having a gear with each of the wheels having a pair of diametrically opposed arcuate segments. Each of the arcuate segments includes an inwardly extending member with each member including a rack that is kept in engagement with an opposed toothed side of the gear. A coiled spring biases the two opposed arcuate segments toward each other. With a motor driving the axle in one direction, the wheel is initially rotated with the opposed arcuate segments in a first position proximate each other until the wheel encounters an impediment that stalls rotation of the wheel so that continued rotation of the axle in one direction drives the segments away from each other. For enhancing the visual effect of the arcuate segments being moved away from each other, edges of the arcuate segments are provided with projecting parts that are obscured when the arcuate segments are in the first position proximate each other.

摘要： In a model airplane having a landing gear 5 provided on a fuselage 1 or wing made as a zinc-alloy die-casting where a bearing member 19 is suspended from a strut 18, it is desirable that the manufacture of an accurately modelled landing gear be simplified. This is achieved in that a landing gear 8 formed with two clasp member arms 10 made of elastically bendable plastic forms the bearing member 19 and at least partially the strut 18 with a tenon 11 being inserted and glued into a cast cavity 12 in the fuselage 1/wing wherein the clasp member 8 bears against the zinc-alloy die-casting with a thickening shoulder 17. The clasp member being a plastic moulding permits a finely engraved realistic appearance of the strut and bearing member while simplifying assembly of the wheel pair and reducing the scrapping rate.

摘要： There is disclosed a toy balloon tire and a wheel. The wheel is an assembly of two hub members each having a peripheral rim about its outer end. An annular land is provided between the opposite ends, and a through passageway is provided in one hub member communicating with a port discharging into the tire. A valve is provided to seal the passageway. The balloon tire has a central opening in one of its sidewalls which is surrounded by a bead. The bead is received over the hub of the wheel and is seated against an annular rim of one of the hub members. The wheel can have a mechanical valve member mounted in the through passageway. Alternatively, the tire itself can seal the passageway and function as the valve. In the preferred embodiment, the passageway discharges into the interior of the tire through a port which is located in the annular land of the hub, between its opposite ends. When the tire is placed on the hub, the annular skirt of the tire overlies the annular land of the hub and functions as a valve member. Pressure relief passageways can be provided which extend through one of the hub rims and open into the annular land of the hub.The tire can be inflated by the application of air pressure to the through passageway. Once inflated, the air is retained in the tire of the valve. In the event the tire is overinflated, it expands sufficiently to uncover the relief passageways, and relieve the excessive pressure.
