    摘要： Apparatus for water purification and used in drinking water supply systems and individual filters. The apparatus allows an increase in quality of the water purification by means of a helical arrangement of a granular filter and an increase of the number of passages in which the water is purified. A household filter comprises a housing with distribution grids at the water inlet and outlet, two and more helical partitions having the form of a flat band or rod twisted around the longitudinal axis and having three or more beam profiles, and, optionally, comprise one or more flat partitions dividing the water inlet and outlet.

    摘要： A bed of granular media is supported in a vessel to process liquid flowed in through both the upper and lower faces of the bed and out of the bed at a location intermediate the upper and lower faces. A drain structure for the processed liquid is mounted at the location intermediate the two bed faces with the capacity to withdraw the quantity of liquid flowing into both of the bed faces. A closed circuit is provided to transfer residual material in the drain structure back to the inlet system of the bed after backwash of the bed. A holding vessel is connected to the vessel in which the media bed is supported to temporarily receive the media for service periods of the bed vessel.

    摘要： A water filtering device includes a casing having a first space defined therein and an inner part is received in the first space. The casing includes an inlet at top thereof and an outlet at a lower end thereof. The inner part includes a cover and an inner tube is located therein. A second space is defined between the inner tube and the inner periphery of the inner part. Filtering particles are received in the second space. The inner part includes apertures defined through a lower end thereof and communicating with the first and second spaces. Water enters into the first space form the inlet and enters into the second space via the apertures and is filtered by the filtering particles. The filtered water flows over the open top of the inner tube and enters into the inner tube and flows out from the outlet of the casing.

    摘要： The invention relates to a filter module and an apparatus for the static filtration of liquids using filter cells having deep bed filter layers and using spacer layers. According to the invention the filter module has a stack of n filter cells and n+1 spacer layers for filtrate and at least one channel arranged in the interior of the filter module. In this case n is ≧1. The filter cells consist of a draining spacer layer for feed liquid and deep bed filter layers which are arranged in a sandwichlike manner thereto and which are joined to one another at their circumference toward the at least one channel at the rim via a sealing compound and wherein the spacer layers for filtrate are furnished with the sealing compound at the rim on their external circumference. The invention can be used to remove substances from liquids, in particular for clarification and sterile filtration in the sectors of the foods industry, drinks industry, pharmaceuticals and chemicals industry, and also in the field of environmental engineering.

    摘要： A filter system employing a modular filter and at least one high rate pre-treatment system for expeditiously and effectively filtering water. The modular filter includes a reservoir housing for containing fluid. A plurality of filter cells are disposed in the reservoir housing for filtering influent passed through the reservoir housing. Each of the plurality of filter cells has at least one layer of media. A moveable backwash assembly is provided for sequentially backwashing the plurality of filter cells. The backwashing procedure is performed on the modular filter system such that while one of the plurality of cells is being backwashed the remaining cells are filtering pre-treated influent processed by the pre-treatment system. The pre-treatment system preferably has a footprint considerably smaller than the footprint of the modular filter. Further, the pre-treatment system preferably includes at least two pre-filters such that when one of the pre-filters is being cleaned the other pre-filter is still directing treated influent to the modular filter for further processing.

    摘要： A filtration system includes a deep-bed type filter to receive an inflow of a waste water when the system is in a filtration mode. A distribution plenum within the filter distributes the waste water to an upper and lower portion of the filter bed. As the waste water flows to conduits centrally located within the bed, particulate in the waste water is entrapped by filter media comprising the bed. The waste water is discharged from the system in a clarified condition. Periodically the system is placed in a rejuvenation mode wherein a series of circuits are used to remove the entrapped particulate from the filter bed so that the system may again be returned to its filtration mode to process additional waste water.
