摘要: A high shock environment resistant electronic air purification system positioned within a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system of a public transit vehicle effective to remove particulate pollutants therefrom. The air purification system comprises a central power box affixed to at least the interior surface of the public transit vehicle and at least one ion emitter positioned remotely from the central power box. The at least one ion emitter is configured to disperse ions into the interior space of the public transit vehicle affixed at least one interior surface of at least at one of in a return air plenum, at an entrance to an evaporator blower motor, or within a passenger air duct of the HVAC system of the public transit vehicle without blocking or substantially restricting an airflow of the HVAC system.

摘要: A method of controlling a hydrogen/oxygen producing system is a method of controlling a hydrogen/oxygen producing system including a water electrolysis apparatus that electrolyzes liquid water by applying current to an anode and a cathode, and a hydrogen gas pressurizing part that pressurizes hydrogen at downstream of the water electrolysis apparatus by applying current to a pressurizing part anode and a pressurizing part cathode. A controller controls current applied to the water electrolysis apparatus and current applied to the hydrogen gas pressurizing part. When the hydrogen/oxygen producing system is stopped, the controller performs first decompression processing such that a decompression speed of the pressurizing part cathode of the hydrogen gas pressurizing part does not exceed a basic decompression speed and performs second decompression processing such that a decompression speed of the anode of the water electrolysis apparatus does not exceed the decompression speed of the pressurizing part cathode.

The freshness maintenance device may include a main body including an inlet through which air flows in and an outlet through which the air is discharged. The freshness maintenance device may also include an electromagnetic wave module, installed at the inlet of the main body, for ionizing food freshness reducing materials included in the air by emitting electromagnetic waves to the air. The device may further include a collection module, installed at the outlet of the main body, for collecting the ionized food freshness reducing materials from the air.

摘要: A sidestream smoke removing device includes a housing having a smoking space defined therein, an article inserting part positioned on one end of the housing and having an open area through which a smoking article is inserted into the smoking space, and a sidestream smoke processing part positioned at a distance from an upstream end of the smoking article inserted into the smoking space and configured to process sidestream smoke produced from the smoking article. The sidestream smoke processing part includes a plasma ion filter configured to generate plasma ions using a high voltage electrode and a ventilation fan configured to allow the sidestream smoke to be discharged through the plasma ion filter. The sidestream smoke removing device obtains superior effects in terms of a sidestream smoke removal rate and deodorizing performance without significantly reducing the flow rate after the application of the filter.

摘要: A method for separating a Lewis acid gas from a fluid mixture, comprising contacting the fluid mixture with a reduced electroactive species; a non-aqueous electrolyte; and a stabilizing additive to form an anion adduct between the Lewis acid gas and the reduced electroactive species, wherein the electroactive species comprises an oxidized state, and at least one reduced state that bonds with the Lewis acid gas to form the anion adduct, wherein the stabilizing additive comprises a cationic Lewis acid, a hydrogen-bond donor, or a combination thereof, and the stabilizing additive is present in an effective amount to kinetically favor the forming of the anion adduct from the reduced electroactive species and thermodynamically favor the forming of the anion adduct in the thermodynamic equilibrium between the anion adduct and the reduced electroactive species.

摘要: A plasma filter device includes at least one electrode device. The at least one electrode device having a first composite electrode and a second composite electrode in a planar manner. The first and second composite electrodes are arranged coplanar to one another on a main surface plane of the electrode device and are separated from one another by a discharge gap. Each of the first and second composite electrodes has a respective electrode sheet that, at least on a boundary surface of the electrode sheet to the discharge gap, has a respective dielectric coating. The plasma filter device further includes a power source configured to provide an AC voltage to the electrode device. The AC voltage is parameterized to instigate formation of a plasma through a dielectric barrier discharge in the discharge gap.
