摘要: The present invention provides a spiral membrane element suitable for suppressing a decrease in a permeation rate of a permeated fluid from a separation membrane. The spiral membrane element of the present invention includes a central tube and a separation membrane that is wound around the central tube. The central tube has an opening for guiding, to an inside of the central tube, a permeated fluid having permeated through the separation membrane. The opening extends in a longitudinal direction of the central tube.

The method includes enzymatic hydrolysis treatment, grinding treatment, ultrasonic treatment, centrifugation treatment, ceramic membrane ultrafiltration treatment, macroporous adsorption resin treatment, elution treatment, evaporation and concentration treatment, spiral-wound membrane ultrafiltration treatment, and reverse osmosis treatment.

摘要: The present invention provides a spiral membrane element suitable for suppressing a decrease in a permeation rate (or a permeation flux) of a permeated fluid from a separation membrane. A spiral membrane element of the present invention includes: a central tube; a membrane leaf that has a separation membrane and a permeation spacer and is wound around the central tube; and a flow passage spacer that is connected to the permeation spacer and is wound around the central tube on a side closer to the central tube than the membrane leaf is. A pressure loss of the flow passage spacer measured by a predetermined test is smaller than a pressure loss of the permeation spacer.

摘要: Affinity chromatography devices that include a fibrillated heat treated polymer membrane that contains inorganic particles having a spherical shape and a particle size distribution that has a D90/D10 less than or equal to 3 are disclosed. A blend or combination of spherical inorganic particles having a nominal particle size from about 5 microns to about 20 microns may be utilized. Also, the devices have a hydraulic permeability from about 200(×10−12 cm2) to about 700(×10−12 cm2). The affinity chromatography devices have a dynamic binding capacity (DBC) greater than 35 mg/ml at 10% breakthrough at a residence time of 20 seconds. Additionally, the affinity chromatography devices have a cycling durability of at least 100 cycles without exceeding an operating pressure of 0.3 MPa. Manifolds containing multiple affinity chromatography devices and manifolds in a parallel configuration are also disclosed.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to affinity chromatography devices including a fibrillated polymer membrane that contains inorganic particles having a spherical shape and a particle size distribution that has a D90/D10 less than or equal to 3. A blend or a combination of spherical inorganic particles may be utilized. A nominal particle size of the spherical inorganic particles is from about 5 microns to about 20 microns. An affinity ligand may be bonded to the spherical inorganic particles and/or to the fibrillated polymer membrane. Also, the affinity chromatography devices have a hydraulic permeability from about 100 (×10−12 cm2) to about 500 (×10−12 cm2). Additionally, the affinity chromatography devices have a cycling durability of at least 100 cycles without exceeding an pressure of 0.3 MPa. Manifolds containing multiple affinity chromatography devices in a parallel configuration and multiple manifolds in a parallel configuration are also disclosed.

摘要: A reverse osmosis system for a seawater desalination system is provided. The reverse osmosis system includes: a high pressure pump configured to supply pretreated seawater at high pressure; a reverse osmosis apparatus configured to desalinate by reverse osmosis the seawater supplied from the high pressure pump; and a pressure exchanger connected to a high salinity water outlet of the reverse osmosis apparatus and configured to recover part of pressure of discharged high salinity water to the reverse osmosis apparatus, wherein the reverse osmosis apparatus includes: a vessel in which a plurality of reverse osmosis membrane units are arranged in a first stage and a second stage; an inflow and outflow portion coupled to a first end of the vessel and connected to a seawater inlet and a high salinity water outlet; a partition wall configured to partition an inner space of the inflow and outflow portion into two spaces; and a transport space portion coupled to a second end of the vessel and configured to guide the seawater moved from a plurality of reverse osmosis membrane units arranged in the first stage to move to a plurality of reverse osmosis membrane units arranged in the second stage.
