    摘要: A method for obtaining a chemical concentration from a chemical composition and a fluid includes introducing the fluid through ports in a manifold diffuse member positioned adjacent a chemical composition and adjusting, with a fluid valve, characteristics of the flow of the fluid through the ports in the diffuser manifold to obtain and maintain a chemical concentration. The amount of liquid allowed through the ports modifies the turbulence of the liquid, thereby modifying the erosion rate of the chemical composition. An apparatus for adjusting characteristics of the flow of a fluid contacting a solid product to form a product chemistry includes a diffuser manifold having a manifold diffuse member comprising ports therethrough and a fluid valve for controlling the flow rate of a fluid moving through the plurality of ports and diverting the fluid through various flow paths.

The lid cover defines a circular mounting aperture 22 within which the mixing device is displaceably located. The mixing device 16 includes four tubular mixing elements 32.1, 32.2, 32.3, and 32.4 which are connected to another so as to be telescopically displaceable relative to one another between a retracted condition and an extended condition wherein the mixing device extends into the beverage 44. The mixing device 16 includes a condiment holder comprising a condiment chamber 36 which is defined within the mixing element 32.1, for holding a condiment 38 such as sugar. The mixing element 32.4 has a number of circumferentially-spaced slots 42 through which the condiment 38 is discharged into the beverage 44.

The apparatus may also have a code detection device for detecting and analyzing a machine-readable code associated with a storage container, said code containing information about which ingredients are contained in the solid molded bodies stored in the respective storage container.
