摘要: Systems and methods for simultaneous control of carbon dioxide and nitric oxide and generation of nitrous oxide are provided. In particular, the present invention provides systems and methods utilizing a titania-based photocatalyst to simultaneously control carbon dioxide and nitric oxide levels generated by combustion systems. Additionally, photoreduction of nitric oxide provided by the photocatalyst is used to generate nitrous oxide.

摘要: Methods for utilizing carbon dioxide to produce multi-carbon products are disclosed. The systems and methods of the present disclosure involve: reducing CO2 to produce a first product mixture comprising an alcohol product mixture comprising one or more alcohols and a paraffin product mixture comprising one or more paraffins; dehydrating the alcohol product mixture to form an olefin product mixture comprising one or more olefins; oligomerizing the olefin product mixture to form a higher olefin product mixture comprising unsaturated paraffins and optionally aromatics; and reducing the higher olefin product mixture to form a higher hydrocarbon product mixture comprising unsaturated paraffins and optionally aromatics. Catalyst materials and reaction conditions for individual steps are disclosed to optimize yield for ethanol or jet fuel range hydrocarbons.

摘要: Disclosed are to a supported catalyst used for synthesizing polyether amine, and a preparation method and use thereof. The supported catalyst introduces Mo and CeO2 into Ni and Cu active components. By means of the cooperation of Ni, Cu and Mo, CeO2 and Ni form more active sites, such that the supported catalyst can have high reaction activity and selectivity. By using the supported catalyst to synthesize polyether amine, the amination efficiency and selectivity of polyether polyol can be greatly enhanced, thereby preparing the polyether amine with light color and narrow molecular weight distribution. In addition, the cost of the catalyst can be reduced, a process condition is relatively mild, and the disadvantage of low reaction activity of a nickel-based catalyst in synthesizing small molecule polyether amine can be overcome, such that the supported catalyst has a desirable industrial application prospect.

摘要: A plant leaves-derived carbon material doped with two metals and preparation and use thereof are provided, the carbon material prepared by carbonizing, in an inert atmosphere, plant leaves which have absorbed ions of two metals M1 and M2. The metal M1 is Co, Mn, or Fe. The metal M2 is Ni, Cu, or Zn. The carbon material can be used as an efficient, green, and safe catalyst for the selective oxidation of cycloalkanes to produce cycloalkanols and cycloalkanones, and enable an increased selectivity of the target products (thus less by-products), a low yield of cycloalkyl peroxides, reduced reaction temperature, low environmental impact, and safe production.

摘要: The present application provides a preparation method for trimethyl aluminum, comprising the steps of: reacting methyl aluminum dichloride or sesquimethyl aluminium chloride or dimethyl aluminum chloride with a system of metal M and methyl chloride in the presence of catalyst and solvent to produce trimethyl aluminum and chloride of metal M; wherein the catalyst is selected from metals or their ions which rank after metallic aluminum in the electrochemical series; the metal M is selected from alkali metals, alkaline earth metals or combinations thereof. The catalyst can significantly increase the reaction rate, thus allowing the reaction to be operated under very simple experimental conditions such as near atmospheric pressure, with higher reaction yields and higher purity of the products, and without by-products of aluminum metal and unreacted alkali or alkaline earth metals in products, making the handling of the products easier.

摘要: Fluid purification systems employing a monolithic composite photocatalyst to remove volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and/or pathogenic organisms are disclosed. Pairing of systems tuned to abate each of these materials are discussed in different configurations such as series and parallel, as well as combining systems to target both materials simultaneously. System configurations that allow a portion of the fluid stream to be purified are also disclosed as are configurations that allow regeneration of the photocatalyst. These features may be augmented by sensors that allow closed loop control of bypass and regeneration cycles in the systems.
