Abstract: Hydrogen-producing fuel processing systems and related methods. The systems include a hydrogen-producing region configured to produce a mixed gas stream from a feedstock stream, a hydrogen-separation membrane module having at least one hydrogen-selective membrane and configured to separate the mixed gas stream into a product hydrogen stream and a byproduct stream, and an oxidant delivery system configured to deliver an oxidant-containing stream to the hydrogen-separation membrane module in situ to increase hydrogen permeance of the hydrogen-selective membrane. The methods include operating a hydrogen-producing fuel processing system in a hydrogen-producing regime, and subsequently operating the hydrogen-producing fuel processing system in a restoration regime, in which an oxidant-containing stream is delivered to the hydrogen-separation membrane module in situ to expose the at least one hydrogen-selective membrane to the oxidant-containing stream to increase the hydrogen permeance of the at least one hydrogen-selective membrane.

Abstract: Some embodiments relate to precursor delivery systems for producing gas precursors. The precursor delivery system may include one or more precursor supply packages containing a solid precursor material. Abstract: In one embodiment, an anhydrous hydrogen fluoride generator vessel (also referred to herein as the “AHF generator vessel”) is provided. In several embodiments, an AHF generator vessel may include a container assembly, one or more shelves, and a center pipe assembly. The container assembly may include a lid assembly that may be removably coupled to the wall, and one or more feet. The center pipe assembly may include a base adapter, a center pipe, and a bottom adapter. In one embodiment, sodium bifluoride is loaded onto the one or more shelves which are positioned perpendicular to the center pipe and stacked upon one another. An external heat source may provide the heat to the vessel to thermally degrade the sodium bifluoride into HF and sodium fluoride (NaF). In various embodiments, the HF may be carried by a carrier gas out of the AHF generator vessel via the lid assembly.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of a method and system for producing a halogen gas. The method may comprise contacting a solid oxidizing agent with a vapor comprising a halide compound, to produce a gas stream comprising a halogen corresponding to the halide in the halide compound. The halide compound may be an acyl halide, such as an acetyl halide or an oxalyl halide. The oxidizing agent may be any suitable oxidizing agent, and in certain examples, potassium permanganate is used. The method may be performed under a reduced pressure. Also disclosed herein is a system suitable to perform the disclosed method. The system may comprise a reservoir, an oxidizing agent support and a gas stream outlet.

Abstract: A system to generate gases from a liquid or a solid source including a generator, a dual arbitrary generator, a turbine, a thermoelectric generator, a pulse-width modulation device, a suction pump, a radiolytic cell, and magnets. The radiolytic cell includes a body, a first disk, a second disk having a plurality of perforations, and a plurality of radiotrodes. Each radiotrodes includes a large diameter tube, a small diameter tube concentric with the large diameter tube, and metallic wires having an end fixed into an upper section of the large and small diameter tubes and to lower sections of the large and small diameter tubes. The second ends of each one of the metallic wires are connected into the perforations of the corresponding first disk or second disk. The radiotrodes hang up inside the radiolytic cells by the metallic wires producing movement or vibration of the radiotrodes inside the radiolytic cell.

Abstract: A processing facility is provided. The processing facility includes an asphaltenes and metals (AM) removal system configured to process a feed stream to produce a power generation stream, a hydroprocessing feed stream, and an asphaltenes stream. A power generation system is fed by the power generation feed stream. A hydroprocessing system is configured to process the hydroprocessing feed stream to form a gas stream and a liquid stream. A hydrogen production system is configured to produce hydrogen, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide from the gas feed stream. A carbon dioxide conversion system is configured to produce synthetic hydrocarbons from the carbon dioxide, and a cracking system is configured to process the liquid feed stream.
