    摘要: A pollution control system for removing particle and gas phase pollutants in a waste airstream exhausted from commercial cooking operations may include a plurality of filters arranged within a housing for filtering particle and gas phase pollutants in the waste airstream. Various ones of the filters may be composed of a variety of different materials, and ozone may be provided within the housing to assist with removal of the pollutants. In some examples, a wash mechanism may be included to wash surfaces of a filter to remove grease therefrom. In some examples, the system may further include means to spray droplets (such as in a fog or mist form) into the waste airstream to condense a portion of gas phase pollutants into condensed particles.

    摘要: A device for collecting particles in air comprising a collecting chamber (4), a capillary tube (12) whereof one end (12.1) terminates in the chamber (4), a collecting electrode, the capillary tube (12) containing polarisable liquid. Sufficient difference in voltage is applied between the liquid and the collecting electrode (16) for a corona effect between the drop of liquid at the end of the capillary tube (12) and the collecting electrode (12) and the spraying of the drop (20) by electrospray. The corona discharge causes flow of air through the collecting chamber (4) and the electrospray ensures wetting of the collecting electrode (16).

In a wet-type electrostatic precipitator having a discharge electrode 14 arranged along a flow path of the gas to be treated 10, a spray nozzle 28 that can spray a water to the upstream side of the discharge electrode 14 is mounted, wherein a wet film is formed on the surface of the discharge electrode 14 with the water sprayed from the spray nozzle 28. The sprayed water is desirably a water vapor or a water droplet having a particle diameter of less than 10 μm.

    摘要: A novel electrostatic precipitator includes an electrostatic collector section with discharge electrodes positioned between pairs of grounded collector electrodes, a gas entry port located upstream of said electrostatic collector section, and a transition section between the gas entry port and said electrostatic collector section into which an aqueous acid gas neutralizing agent is sprayed into a gas stream. An additional collector section may be interposed between the gas entry port and the point where the acid gas neutralizing agent is injected into the gas stream. The collector section may comprise alternating charging and short collection sections in which the grounded electrodes of adjoining charger and collector sections are connected. A liquid spray removes particulates collected on the grounded electrodes of the collector sections.
