摘要: Systems for separating components of a mixture are provided which can include: a conduit system having at least one linear section including a length of opposing sidewalls defining a volume configured to receive a flow of mixed materials entering along a proximate end of the length and exiting along a distal end of the length; and a tortured path defining at least one series of members extending in line across the volume from one sidewall of the volume and inwardly toward the distal end defining an angle other than normal from the one sidewall.
Methods for separating components of a mixture are provided which can include providing a mixture of components into the tortured path to separate larger components from smaller components of the mixture and concentrate the larger components toward an opposing sidewall of the conduit.-

摘要: A method for producing a powdered starting material, which is provided for production of rare earth magnets, including the following steps: pulverizing an alloy, including at least one rare earth metal, wherein a powdered intermediate product is formed from the alloy including at least one rare earth metal, and carrying out at least one classification aimed at particle size and/or density for the powdered intermediate product, wherein a fraction of the powdered intermediate product, which is formed by means of the at least one classification, for fabrication of rare earth magnets. Furthermore, at least one dynamic classifier is provided, implementing at least one classification directed at particle size and/or density for the powdered intermediate product and thereby separates the fraction from the powdered intermediate product, which forms the starting material provided for manufacturing rare earth magnets.

摘要: This invention relates to a process for recovering value metals from sulphide ore, including steps of crushing ore in a primary crusher (14) to a size of about 40 cm and less, passing the crushed ore through one or more of the following pre-beneficiation processes such as bulk sorting (16) and screening (20) followed by coarse floatation (46/50), or gravity separation or magnetic separation. A waste stream (54) from the pre-beneficiation process/es with a particle size greater than 100 μm is stacked in a heap (26) and subjected to a heap leach. This integrated process utilises the pre-beneficiation techniques best suited to the characteristics of a particular orebody; and during the pre-beneficiation simultaneously creating a low grade stream that yields significantly higher recoveries than achievable by normal heap leaching of low grade run of mine ore.
