摘要: A waste disposal system (30) with a waste receiver (32) for receiving pharmaceutical waste material. A locking assembly (34) is secured to a fixed surface and actuated from a locked configuration to an unlocked configuration. A lock cylinder of the locking assembly may extend forward of a front wall (44) of a receiver body (36) of the waste receiver to engage a locking feature of a cover (82) in the locked configuration. A cover retention feature (124) may prevent axial decoupling of the cover from the receiver body. The receiver body may be formed from two shells (62,64). A reaction agent (150) is positioned within the container volume and spaced apart from a bottom wall of the receiver body. The reaction agent may be positioned within the container volume between the lock passageway (94) and/or a solid receiver volume, and opposing sidewalls of the receiver body. A support may maintain the position of the reaction agent within the container volume.

摘要: A method for treating process material using a plurality of autoclaves. The method includes: introducing steam into a hollow interior of a first autoclave; increasing the temperature within the hollow interior of the first autoclave by adding heat to the hollow interior of the first autoclave using an indirect heat source; reducing the temperature and pressure within the hollow interior of the first autoclave by flashing a portion of the steam within the hollow interior of the first autoclave to a second autoclave; increasing the temperature within the hollow interior of the first autoclave by continuing to add heat to the hollow interior of first autoclave using the indirect heat source; and reducing a moisture content of a process material in the hollow interior of the first autoclave to a predetermined value by venting a remaining portion of the steam from the first autoclave into a third autoclave.

摘要: A medical zero emission waste system comprising a medical waste treatment unit that couples to a medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit is onsite to the medical facility for processing medical waste generated by the medical facility. The medical waste treatment unit comprises a gasification reactor, a syngas treatment unit, and a synthetic fuel generator for treating and converting medical waste. The synthetic fuel generator comprises an electrolysis unit and a liquid fuel synthesis unit. The medical waste treatment unit converts the medical waste to synthetic fuel, gaseous fuel, oxygen, heat, slag, and other components that are useful to the medical facility or other entities. The medical waste treatment system uses carbon dioxide generated during a medical waste conversion process thereby producing substantially zero emissions and eliminating medical waste that could be harmful to the environment.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing recycled pulp fibers such that articles using the recycled pulp fibers can easily achieve a uniform whiteness and users are not prone to feel psychological resistance to articles using the recycled pulp fibers. This method is described below. The method is characterized by involving: a step for supplying, from a mixed solution supply port (32) to a treatment tank (31), a mixed solution (51) which contains superabsorbent polymers and pulp fibers derived from multiple types of used sanitary products; a step for supplying an ozone-containing gas (53) from an ozone-containing gas supply port (43) to a treatment solution (52) inside of the treatment tank (31); a step in which, by raising the ozone-containing gas (53) while lowering the superabsorbent polymers and pulp fibers in the treatment tank (31), the ozone-containing gas (53) is brought into contact with the superabsorbent polymers and the pulp fibers, and the pulp fibers are bleached to form recycled pulp fibers; and a step for discharging the treatment solution (52) from a treatment solution discharge port (33), wherein the recycled pulp fibers have a 0-10 ΔYI with respect to a standard white plate.

摘要: An apparatus for producing pozzolanic material from consumer waste includes a glass separator unit to remove glass material from the waste and a size reduction unit downstream the glass separator unit. The glass separator unit includes a tubular outer member and an inner helical member extending inwardly from the inner surface of the tubular outer member and defining an open central bore. The tubular outer member and the open central bore define respective coaxial longitudinal axes that are disposed at an angle relative to a horizontal reference plane, with the inlet higher than the outlet. Non-glass/non-ceramic material is output through the open outlet end of tubular outer member utilizing a flow of water. The glass/ceramic material is output to the size reduction unit through the open inlet end of the tubular outer member utilizing the rotating inner helical member of the glass separator unit.

摘要: Solid waste that includes a mixture of wet organic material and dry organic material can be are separated using mechanical separation to produce a wet organic stream enriched in wet organics and a dry organic stream enriched in dry organics. The separated wet organic stream and dry organic stream are separately converted to renewable or recyclable products using different conversion techniques particularly suited for the separated wet and dry organic streams.

摘要: A used capsule moving assembly includes a capsule blocking device leaving a capsule opening accessible, a used capsule moving device supporting the capsule blocking device and moving the capsule blocking device by taking it in front of a cutting device to partially open a capsule lid, in front of an emptying device to empty a used or extracted or exhausted substance, including used ground coffee, from a capsule body without breaking or destroying the capsule body, and in front of a capsule collection device to collect the capsule body emptied of the used or extracted or exhausted substance. The used capsule moving device displaces the capsule blocking device along a linear path at least when the capsule blocking device is placed so as to take the capsule body with the longitudinal capsule axis thereof in front of each of the cutting, emptying, and collection devices.
