摘要: The riveting machine for riveting two parts has a motorized-drive system (2) with an output shaft, a set (3) of mutually articulated link rods, with a first link rod (31) mounted to rotate with the output shaft and a second link rod (32) articulated to the first link rod (31), a ram (4) articulated to the second link rod (32) at one of its ends and equipped at its opposite end with an upper rivet die (5), a guide device (6) having a through-orifice in which the ram (4) is engaged, and a lower rivet die (9), able to collaborate with the upper rivet die (5) to upset the rivet, when the rivet is placed inside an orifice pierced through the parts, between the upper and lower rivet dies. The rotation of the output shaft drives the movement of the ram (4) to allow, through the link rods (31, 32) moving from a folded position to a deployed position, lowering the upper rivet die (5) to bring the rivet into the orifice.

摘要: The invention relates to a hold-down device for a joining drive and joining drive with a hold-down device. The hold-down device includes a hold-down cylinder, wherein the hold-down cylinder provides a hold-down force by means of a pressurized chamber. The pressure chamber consists of the hold-down cylinder and a punch of the joining drive. The pressurization required for the provision of the hold-down force is provided by a hydraulic circuit of the joining drive. In the joining mode, the pressure chamber of the hold-down device is connected to a pressure accumulator of the hold-down device, so that a change in volume in the pressure chamber of the hold-down device has no noticeable influence on the pressure in the pressure chamber.

The attachment of the clinch nuts is performed in a light-safe manner.

摘要: Described herein are methods and manufacturing systems that select fasteners for pre-feeding and, in some examples, pre-feed the selected fasteners. These methods involve aggregating historical manufacturing data, comprising hole identifications and fastener grip lengths, previously selected for these hole identifications. A specific grip length and a corresponding fastener repeatability rating are then determined for each hole identification from this historical manufacturing data. For example, a specific grip length corresponds to the most frequently selected grip length for this hole identification. In some examples, the historical manufacturing data is analyzed using machine learning. The fastener repeatability rating is compared to an operating threshold, in some examples, to determine if the corresponding grip length should be selected for a particular hole location. This grip length selection is then used for pre-feeding a corresponding fastener into an automated drilling machine, thereby saving significant processing time relative to conventional processes.

Finally, a fluid channel extends at least partly through the hollow, which may be a hollow-cylindrical, body such that an exit opening is provided between the first and the second endless sealing and an entry opening for supplying a testing fluid is provided, which may be remote to the abutting end.
