    摘要: A tool configured to form four evenly spaced indentations having an indentation radius and four evenly spaced projections about a circumference of a generally cylindrical seamless ferrule having a ferrule radius. Each projection of the four projections has a projection height equal to or less than a height threshold. The tool includes four crimping dies. Each crimping die of the four crimping dies defines a concave crimping surface having the indentation radius. The tool also includes four limiting dies. Each limiting die is located intermediate two adjacent crimping dies of the four crimping dies. Each limiting die defines a limiting surface that is configured to limit a height of each projection to the height threshold.

    摘要: A rotary swaging machine comprises a tool unit having a tool space which receives a plurality of shaping swaging tools. The swaging tools are used for processing a workpiece which can be introduced into the tool space. A front cover locking mechanism of the tool unit includes an actuation device and is provided for locking a front cover of the tool unit in a position in which the front cover at least partially covers the tool space at a tool space side. In order to change swaging tools, the front cover can be unlocked and moved into a position in which the front cover releases the tool space for removal or insertion of swaging tools at the tool space side.

    摘要: A crimping tool has crimping dies arranged in a star shape directed at a crimping region and subjected to rotational action radially outwards for the crimping movement by means of an actuating part. The crimping dies are mounted about an axis of rotation transversely to the longitudinal extent thereof for pivoting-in and form an abutment region on the crimping region side of the axis of rotation. A radial movement and/or circumferential movement is brought about to coincide with the rotational action on the crimping dies, in order to obtain abutment of a crimping die in the abutment region thereof against the counter-abutment region of another crimping die adjacent to the crimping die in the pivoting direction or counter-pivoting direction.

Then, the profiling tool (5) is displaced in an axial manner in relation to the hollow part (1) at a constant radial adjusting depth until the desired profile length is obtained.

    摘要: Radial compression mechanism includes a base member and a plurality of elongated compression dies. The dies are arranged in a generally circular orientation on the base member with a contact surface of each die in sliding contact with a base surface of an adjacent die. A portion of each base surface of each die cooperates with portions of base surfaces of adjacent dies to define a generally cylindrical central cavity moved between open and closed positions by a driving mechanism. The dies are cammingly coupled to the base member and to the driving mechanism so that rotation of the driving mechanism about the central axis causes each die to move generally arcuately about a point of camming engagement with the base member.

    摘要: The invention relates to metal forming and can be used for forging billets and blanks by means of hydraulic forging presses. The inventive device comprises two holders for top and lower hammers and two holders for side hammers which are cinematically connected thereto. Each top and lower hammer is provided with two working surfaces separated by a recess in which the working surfaces of the side hammers penetrate. At least one adjusting plate is arranged between the lower hammer and the holder thereof. Said lower hammer is fixed to the holder by two L-shaped clamps which are pressed by the inclined faces thereof against the inclined faces of the lower hammer holder and by the wavy faces thereof against two friction plates which are made, for example of copper and fixed to the side surfaces on the lower hammer. Pins which are fixed in the lower hammer pass through the holes of the adjusting plates and penetrate into the holes of the lower hammer holder.
