    Abstract: A casting core assembly comprising: a first ceramic piece including a projecting post; a second ceramic piece including a socket encircling the post; and a ceramic filler material between the post and the socket, wherein at least one of: in axial section at at least one location the post has: a lateral protrusion of at least 15 micrometers relative to a location proximal thereof; and in axial section at at least one location socket has: a lateral recess of at least 15 micrometers relative to a location outboard thereof.

    Abstract: A method for chemically pickling a cast metal part, including a metal envelope which delimits an inner space in which at least one porous ceramic core is housed, and an outer space, the ceramic core being in fluid communication with the outer space, which method including: filling the pores of the ceramic core with a liquid; and then chemically pickling the cast metal part. This chemical pickling method may be implemented in a method for manufacturing a metal part by investment casting. This method is applicable at least to manufacture of turbine blades for turbomachines and, especially, for aircraft turbojet engines.

    Abstract: A casting mould produces copper anodes for producing high-purity copper. The casting mould has: a first flat cavity, which is delimited by two lateral surfaces aligned in parallel with each other; two second cavities, which are fluidically connected to the first flat cavity, are arranged on different corners on a peripheral side of the first flat cavity, and extend laterally outwardly away from the first flat cavity; and a core. The core is provided centrally in a respective second cavity of the second cavities. The core sub-divides the respective second cavity at least partially into a closed annular shape in the peripheral direction.
